Congratulations 32b3. You must feel great.

Minicooper you're very brave. I struggle just to log on sometimes.:rotfl:

Aww, thanks Parsniphead. I suppose it is just transferring the debt, but it should get paid off a lot quicker with the big reduction in interest I will be paying :D

OMG i certainly dont have any luck!!! on Wednesday night the cooker tripped the electric 3 times so we're not using it, smoeone from the cooker place is coming to look at it on thursday.

yesterday morning... the boiler wouldnt turn on! presumably because of the electric tripping. we tried all switches etc, i had to go to work without a shower! nightmare. they called someone out same day though and all working again.

i have ordered a halogen oven to tide us over til the cooker is fixed, paid £10 for express delivery - and it says estimated deliv Sat to Wed... if it comes on Wed i'll be peeved

  • Hi all! Hope you're all un-touched by the nasty weather! I've been unscathed at my parents this weekend, but not looking forward to my train this afternoon, I know my line is affected by flooding, so just have to hope it's cleared soon!

Had such a stressy weekend, lots of little things, worst thing is that a friend I met for drinks accidentily let slip on fb (where my boss's PA can see) that I'm job hunting... Also have to get an expensive mouth shield from my dentist as I've been stress grinding (not surprised!)

amr you're definitely not having any luck! But that's the third thing now yes? That should be the end of it!

completely forgot that i have to get road tax this week! so that £100 in the house will be used for that... i was wondering why i had nearly £100 stashed in the house as i never keep money at home - makes it too easy to order take away to be delivered.

Lola, it's good that you've got it in the house instead of having to buy the tax on credit :)

I have no chance of making it either now bar robbing a bank but i don't think I would have achieved what I have without the support of this thread.

I hope you hang around. We will make it in 2014.:T

Same, I'm with you guys!! we can do it! :D
Don't go!! I signed up for the 2012 challenge, and by this point I knew I wouldn't make it, but is till kept at the challenge. At the very least it reminded me not to treat it like a week off my diet and go on a spending spree! It's up to you really, but you're not in it alone!

Yep yep yep, I hear ya sisters! Love you guys :o
