Oh dear, it's all down hill from here... I've taken over the spreadsheet! I've offered to help out for the time being while Spag goes on Mat leave. Please bear with me, as I don't have access to update the front pages, and also still need to get to grips with the spreadsheet.
Thanks Spagbol for all your great help so far :j:j And don't worry - we'll be able to fend for ourselves! Keeping everything crossed for the hubby and the little'un!0 -
Ooooh, minicooper is in charge

I got a low interest rate loan yesterday and cleared all my mums debts. I will be back in a minute to do an update.

My mums debts were all on high interest credit cards so the loan will help bring the total amount I pay down. I will be able to pay off the loan in 6 months at my current rate of monthly payments.SPC9 #125 - £816.85

Yay congratulations 32b3 that's awesome
and I'm sure you'll beat the 6 months anyway as you'll be saving on interest.
I'm a little scared of minicooper being in charge, she's a spreadsheet whizz
I'm at 5% of my savings target
I think I need to break it down into 3 different yearly amounts though. So before Christmas I need to have saved £4600 to have the money in the bank that I used to pay off the debts.
So...I need a number please minicooper
as a savings update from me...
