  • :T Well done on the pay rise AMR! That's another help for your pockets!

Actually, that reminds me, there's been no sign of my payrise/promotion yet. It's nearly 2 months late now. Suppose I should go chase that again.

looks like our gas and electric are going to be half the price in this house :) been here nearly a week and we have used £8 of gas, £6 of electric. in the other house we paid a minimum of £10 a week electric and £23 a week in gas (even though we didn't actually have any hot water and sod turning on the heating!)

i am quite pleased as we have had the heating on, there's always hot water and we couldn't figure out how to turn off the radiators:rotfl:
  • That's really good news amr! Glad it's paying off moving house!

I was feeling very skint this week, until I realised it's pay day Monday and I can't do anything expensive this weekend. Should be able to pump a something into my savings account this month afterall!

I'm having an allergy test this week, so good excuse to have a quiet weekend really. It's very itchy though, I could do with some distraction!

We've nearly finished our Xmas shopping thanks to Arg*s!!! £55 for 8 children's presents, can't grumble when it normally costs twice the price.
