I think I've dealt with most, my fave is virgin or O2. I hate BT due to their offshore call centre

Ah you see we can't get virgin in our area and sky keep putting up the price bit by bit. Going with BT will save us quite a bit each month (£50 I think Hubby said) and I'm getting £140 quidco cashback and a £100 sainsbug voucher to boot!

Well done to Lemonpop, Triplechocchip and Bedsitbob :T:T:T

Our total for July was...drumroll...£17,863.93 :j:j:j

Our lowest month but so many people becoming debt free or coming close :j:j

I've decided to alter my total to £47k owing so it looks like we are paying off now. Psychologically our shortfall was doing my head in, all just to preserve our total from last year! We still paid off £11k even taking into account the "new" debt so still ok. Not as good as the £13k we had thought it was though...

I will do the debt free roll of honour now and update the front page although it might have to wait until tomorrow because I have to sort out my mountain of washing (boo!) before I go back to work in the morning after a few days off.

Well done all :T July and August are always expensive months, but I think it's been our busiest month for people becoming debt free!

Right then. Looks like we are moving! LL has done a u-turn and said if we're not happy then he will end the tenancy early. We are just waiting to get that in writing. Hoping the LA will help us to find another place ie put us at the top of the queue for new properties, as all of the properties in our price range get let out very quickly. (within 24 hours mostly :()

We don't really have the money to move. We will basically eat up our savings. and I have a shed being delivered this morning! Pants.
