Whatever you make using all those ingredients, I'd recommend you sleep in seperate rooms tonight, or with the windows wide open or you may die! :rotfl:0 -

You can fry chickpeas with paprika, ground cumin, a little bit of lemon juice, and maybe even some curry powder in a little bit of oil. It makes a really tasty tapas dish. Or you can make chickpea curry or falafel.
kidney beans go in chilli, and lentils become lentil soup - that's the only thing I know how to do with them.0 -

i found a recipe for a warm lentil salad, also lentils in place of mince for lasagne and shepherds pie - gonna give that a go as i am not really a fan of mince.0 -

Chickpea curry is lovely and so good for you. On slimming world I can make a batch of this from a dried bag of chickpeas, an onion or two and somegarlic, some spices, stock and tins of toms and it lasts for about 4 days for DH and I for lunch and dinner!! I once lost 5lb one of those weeksminicooper272 wrote: »Oh I'm so pleased for Andy Murray! So amazing to see a local lad do such an amazing job!!!! Haha, I feel partially responsible for this! :rotfl::rotfl:Oh and I bought an exercise bike on a FB group but it isn't a terribly good one. I'm going to buy D@vina's pre- and post-natal workout DVD soon it is supposed to be good towards the end of pregnancy.
Kerri my advice would be to stay as fit as you can! You may stay nice and petite in pregnancy but I found pregnancy very difficult with DS1 when I got so big I couldn't move and labour was really difficult, both 3rd trimester and labour were much easier with DS2 when I was still massive but much fitter. How about an exercise bike for you if you like cycling but can't be @$£&d to go out and about?
I'm waiting for a call back about antenatal yoga and work have already agreed to let me work from home one day a week so I can get to classes  I also get 10 free swim sessions at my local gym so may sign up if I get on ok with those (I'm just sooooo tired right now though!)minicooper272 wrote: »Were they staying in a hotel? Buying souvenirs? Unless they meant £17? For 4 kids, that's a lot of money!
Found a badminton club that meets 1 mile from me, while the nearest running club is 4 miles away, so have decided to give badminton a try. Bought a £10 badminton racquet, but then couldn't resist buying some workout wear that had been reduced to a silly cheap price. I will start running again, but I'm being challenged to find a way of getting out and being sociable, and MSEing has put me into a mentality that I won't drive 4 miles to run, when it's something I can do on my own doorstep.
DH and I bought a really nice 4 person badminton set (inc net) for about £20 from Arg05 last weekend. We love it! Our garden is far too small though so it's reserved for trips to the in-laws:jDebt Free By Xmas 2013 #010 £16,660.26/£16,660.26 100% paid, DFD 25/06/13!:j0 -
we overheard someone at the seaside saying "it costs a fortune to take the kids to the seaside, £70 per child..." what are they buying ?!?!? ice cream with a flake is only 65p and fish and chips are £3 for kids:rotfl: even the fairground is only £10 for wristbands!
however we went to the seaside and spent more than we wanted, also bought a new bed for the rabbit and some weighing scales... oops
Where are you buying 65p ice-creams from? I want one! Most seafront kiosk charge £1.50+ for an ice cream without the extras. If you buy a chippy tea and bottles/cans of pop throughout the day, candy floss etc. (some parents just can't/won't say no) and some fairs charge by the ride at £3 each a go then add on the money wasted in amusement arcades... I imagine it adds up especially when you add in parking/petrol etc.
It's why I have cats0
