If you buy a chippy tea and bottles/cans of pop throughout the day, candy floss etc. (some parents just can't/won't say no) and some fairs charge by the ride at £3 each a go then add on the money wasted in amusement arcades... I imagine it adds up especially when you add in parking/petrol etc.
It's why I have cats

This must be heavily dependent on location, by the time you've paid for parking somewhere like Brighton and each had an ice-cream and some chips not to mention all the !!!! your kids see and MUST HAVE you're looking at a second mortgage :rotfl::rotfl:DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -

You see the more you all talk about the financial strains, the pregnancy, and I see my sleep deprived colleagues, the further back I push my kids having age :rotfl: I used to think 27, now I'm thinking 33... Maybe 36....0 -

Everything you say is true, and you can add stretch marks and dodgy pelvic floorsbut on the plus side you will never laugh so much as when you've got children. They are incredibly funny and laughter is the best medicine :rotfl:

Well done, off the starting blocks :T:ji'm looking at late 20s for my first kid, but who knows !!! i'd like a house first and that's not going to happen for a couple of years :-P
Yes we had our first at 27, I'm glad we did in so many ways but I am one of the youngest mums at the school and I can see the older parents have much more financial security. This is a very affluent area though so I try not to judge against other people! We went through a stage of that and living up to other people's lifestyles and my sig shows what hapened :eek: Silly us.
To be honest there is never a good time to have kids, they will always ruin financial plans!DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -

Pretty sure I will be one of the oldest  most people in my school year, the year below and the year below that have least 1 child, some have 2. (I'm 22 now by the way!)
My best friend and her BF are about to start trying, they've got the house already so no need to worry about that0 -
