  • My car passed its MOT today (just), so, fingers and toes (and other things too painful to contemplate) crossed, July's pay day could see me Debt Free.

  • It's official, MSE'ing has made me mental!

Tonight I was tempted to put 2 remaining ice cubes back in the freezer because I didn't want to put extra in the glasses just to finish them up!

I managed to get a grip, realised I AM mental and used them, they were free after all :rotfl:

I think I need to lie down

Definitely something in the water... had our first scan yesterday we're 11 weeks and 5 days with a little wriggler in my belly :D First baby and super excited, not exactly planned (we don't tell the other half I stopped taking my pill in January) so 2014 is going to be a very exciting year.

I know it's been ages since I've been on but I've still been trying to keep on track. Lots of changes going on at the moment though, not least that I'm pregnant :D Subsequently have spent a lot of money on a new wardrobe and storage to try and get our house in order.

Spagbol and there's another lady whose name completely escapes me who is expecting in September(?) I believe. Just looked back it was XJojo :)

Okay I plan to stay away from this thread from the foreseeable future. My 2 are enough and if there is something in the water I would rather someone else drink it :rotfl:

Seriously though CONGRATULATIONS to all the ladies who are expecting. I wish you all healthy, happy pregnancies.

Was just heading out the door this morning when mum called to tell me my aunt has had a stroke over the weekend. Apparently she's doing well, and is in a good hospital, so I hope she'll make a full recovery. Waiting to see whether I should go visit - I don't want to crowd the family, and mum thinks if I go so much out of my way to visit it will make it even more obvious to her that she's ill, which will just make her feel even more ill.

I missed mum's first call, and had such a panic when I was calling back that it might be dad, and did I have enough money in my bank account to buy a train ticket/how it would take 5 hours to get there, and what if it was really serious. I just can't wait to be closer to home...

Hope you Aunt is ok xx

Thank you :) and Starnac you should watch the water as you don't live too far away :p

I've just had a big argument with the people in B00ts as they wouldn't give me any P1riton for my hayfever, in the end I agreed I wouldn't sue them if they gave me the darn drugs. If you go to hospital they give you p1riton for allergies no problem, but because the manufacturer puts on there a warning for child-carriers it gives everyone else the right to object grrr. I only want to take 1 a day instead of the 4 as I can't take migraine medication.

Congratulations Kerri! Nearly everyone on the forum is due around the same time too! We're going to have such a ghost town around here when everyone goes on maternity leave!

Thanks for the well wishes for the Aunt everyone - Mum went to visit yesterday, and said they are really hopeful she will make a near-full recovery, but it will take time. It could have been a lot worse, but she has started physiotherapy today, and I hope that is a good sign. Mum reassured me she is having lots of visitors, and that we will go visit her when she gets to go home.
