Ok, to try and make myself feel less guilty about buying the tickets, I have just paid off my Evans card in full, so another £324.19 off my total!!
spagbol, can you update my total please?

another debt gone in its entirety, woohoo! I am going to close the account too to remove temptation to spend on the card again. Hubby and I were talking, and we now are in a position where we don't need cards to buy basics like clothes, we can pay cash, so time to close the store card. We are also closing Kays and Very account today as we don't need those anymore for the same reason. Looking forward to a more simplified life in terms of the sheer number of accounts we have open! We are also hoping to clear down Debenhams card in full this month, we almost have enough, I am just selling a load of my clothes, shoes and handbags as we speak on the local FB swap/sell page, so I should hopefully get enough from that to make up the difference needed to clear it in full :T:jCo-op loan: £2672.38. £2886.64 / £5559.02

Xspender - we are first time buyers, so for us, like you, it is on like donkey kong if we are going to achieve our dream of buying a 3 bed semi in our village
Spagbol - not nerdy at all, I love number sequences, I am also a bit anal in how I pay my bills too, I like to pay off any pence so that bills are in even pounds only amounts lol. Hmmm, 11k in 4 months, I will put my thinking cap on and get back to you on that. Good times on payday tomorrow though, at least you can clear a bit of it. We have a zero percent ending this month, so hoping to clear that one by the end of next month (Capital One, so luckily the smaller card). Nationwide zero percent ends in July. Sadly Halifax zero percent ends soon too, sigh, and Barclaycard is already accruing interest, so after Capital One is cleared we will be throwing money at Barclaycard. Sadly we are going to be left with the 3 biggies, which I am sure will be tough in terms of staying motivated, but we will get there.
Pinksky - you are doing brilliantly!!! :T
I have been naughty today and bought two tickets to see The Rolling Stones July 6th at Hyde Park in LondonThis was the one thing we were adamant we were going to shell out for this year, as we figured it will be the last opportunity to see them, as lets face it they aren't getting any younger!!! I grew up listening to their music as my dad is a huge fan, and this has rubbed off on me. My love of them has now rubbed off on my husband! We can't wait, but do feel guilty for spending the money on them
:o:o:o
Oh wow, I'm more of a Beatles girlbut still would jump at the chance of going to see the stones. You need the odd big treat to keep you motivated so don't worry but actually the fact that you feel guilty about it is positive in my book :T
We have a lot of our CC debt on Bcards (I have one and so does DH), they are at 6.9% which is better than a lot of loans so it is ok plus they need a 2.25% minimum payment so get cleared quite quickly. I could BT some of the £11k onto this card (there is about £9k free at the moment) but want to pay off as much as poss to reduce the amount of BT fee to pay.DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -

So today has been a good day!! Two official looking letters arrived this morning, but instead of being the usual (banks telling me how much I still owe) it was one of those banks telling me that having looked into my complaint regarding PPI, that they are paying me £2046.81. Enclosed in the second envelope was a cheque for that very amount!!
As much as I would love to blow that money on a much needed holiday, I have every intention of throwing it at my debts. I just need to work out which. I will update my figures including this amount once the cheque has cleared and the money has been used in debt repayments.
In the mean time my current totals are as follows:
#020 £4707.14/£16,500Paid off £16,715/£16,550 by Christmas 2013Now to pay off all remaining debts by Christmas 2014Total to pay #041 £7,086.97/£16,500Only £9,413.03 to go :eek:0
