Just checked my PPal and I have a lovely amount in there from sales this weekend, although I fear most of that is about to be spent on postage! Eep! Still can't get onto my credit card online account and no card in sight just yet. I'm waiting for the OHs student loan to come in at the moment so we can pay the bills because I've had a small spending frenzy whoops! Well I have gone over 2 months without spending anything on myself so I felt it was justified. However, not having the CC where I threw all the money is giving me the fear.

I've so far had 6 sales on my website since we went live. I'm feeling a little down-hearted about it as I think it's a fab idea and the prices are reasonable. So amr come on then, how do I get more traffic to my website? I need your marketing expertise here I think :)

Congrats to everyone on how much we've paid off so far, it's absolutely fabby :)

Oh I can't wait to get a deposit together, so at the very least I can stop renting from sh** landlords like my current one! She's so lazy, it's unbelievable! For example, a hedge in the garden fell over in Jan, blocking the entrance. I asked her to clear it, she said she'd send someone out in Spring, when we said that wasn't good enough she asked us 'what do we need in OUR garden before spring anyway'?!?! Now I'm having problems with the internet, and 6 months later, I'm still chasing her to fix them.

Her latest email has just ruined my good mood... On a high after a fantastic gig yesterday, and a great walk around the city today past all the flats I've been eyeing up on Right Move! Topped off by a successful jaunt round the charity shops.

Hi Starnac, you're probably not far from me either. If you google fabridashery you'll find me :) not sure on MSE rules and web addresses ;) I still have lots that I need to list though, but getting there slowly like the tortoise.

My leo cat is poorly :( the new, cheaper but higher meat quantity food I bought him is giving him a very, very bad belly. I've had to order him new food which the veggie other half isn't going to like as it's raw meat. We now need to look for a small chest freezer as we're going to start batch cooking meals and freezing them :) for both us and the cats

Feel the same as you! I've been waiting for someone to come and sort ouf the damp in my kitchen since October  It took them 6 months to fit a gate fgs!

My OH has the rightmove bug (I've had it for ages) but the deposit saving can't begin until June!

    Evening

The bingo win has just been paid, and I have paid off the rest of the credit card and £33 I had left on a littlewoods account

    my new total is #11 - £5347.74/£10,224 = 52.31%

I won £550 but I gave my mum the rest of the after the 2 payments I have paid.

I will now start on very, which is my next most expensive debt in terms of interest. The first extra payment on that account will be paid on Friday when my expenses are paid at work :D

Spagbol,, you are an absolute star for keeping us all going. I am over half way there and wouldn't have even started the journey without the motivation of this thread :j:A:D

Grrrr I am so mad! I worked both Good Friday (early shift) and bank holiday Monday (long 12.5 hour shift) because we get bank holiday pay and I wanted to use that big lump sum to pay off a chunk of my credit card. The shifts had to be authorised by 10am this morning which yesterday they assured me it would be. By 9.50 this morning it still hadn't been authorised for yesterday so I rang the ward to ask them to do it and they said they would. Just checked it and it still hasn't been authorised!! Dammit I won't get the money now until the week after for that shift. Just means I'll have to split the big chunk payment into 2 but still annoying!!

Grrrr that is so frustrating.:mad:

:eek::eek: two cars!!!:eek::eek: OH's job is in Bristol so he is going to cycle & get the train, he asked about the car and I said no.

I have to retract my self-pitying from earlier, I've just had a repeat customer who purchased a few pieces last week and has come back this week and bought more than last time :T:T This might be a feasible business afterall, albeit a slow-starting one. *sigh of relief* Just waiting for the PPal to fill up to a size replicating what I've spent on the business so far and I'll pay myself back :)....probably sometime next year lol

:mad::mad: and the ec*r saga goes on!!!! they won't send OH his proof of NCB because theres 'an outstanding debt on the account' and they expect him to call their debt department on a line that costs £1 a FREAKIN MINUTE!!!!! to find out what that debt is! OH is calling Citizens Advice consumer line because they are taking the P now.
