Oh I could just cry! I was supposed to go home this weekend, and booked my tickets ages ago. I got to the train station with plenty of time, and suddenly realised I'd forgotten my young persons rail card, without which my tickets are invalid! I ran out, asked the taxi driver to race me home (I'm about 1.5miles from the station, so not far), and completely tore up my room looking for the pass - nothing! So I had to pay £15 for a taxi and I've gone nowhere!
I eventually found my pass in the handbag I took home at Christmas, and I've had to shell out another £40 for a ticket to go home tomorrow instead, which will have 4 changes :eek: As it was that or pay £40 for missing my dentist appt on Monday (£20 per half hour slot missed). On top of it all, I've just re-opened a stitched up wound because of all the sprinting!
I'm off to open some wine and fume some more :mad:0 -

:mad::mad::mad: in a bad mood.
Hope everything is alright?
I've calmed down a little now, I'm just very annoyed at myself for being careless. It's been one of those weeks! Hoping to make the money back in overtime next weekend at least. I have to borrow the money from somewhere until pay day though, so I'll need to decide where it will come from. I'll try to absorb it into my everyday budget, but I'll see how I am doing come the end of the month.0 -
