Nice to see some new faces!
My laptop has just edged me back into my overdraft, but it's only until the money transfers across from my savings account.
So glad it's Friday! There's a lot of discontent in my office just now, and it's been rubbing off a bit. I won't get into a big moan though! I have a wine bottle to tell it to tonight!0 -
I was not a happy bunny this morning! Got my statement through from Barclaycard and my direct debit of £50 at the beginning of Feb did not go through and I have been charged a £12 fee  So I have had to pay £62 to get my payments to where I though I was and will just have to pay less off another card this month

The above payment does not take anything off my total but I made another payment of £10.61 giving me a total of :
#147 = £235.61/£3288
Fingers crossed I make a good amount of money when my ebay items end this Sunday as it would still be nice to get my CC debt below 3k this month as planned.0 -
I can't remember if anyone on this thread is from Cardiff, but if you are and you do crafty things....would you mind telling me if you know of any groups for stitching / knitting / sewing etc??? I'd quite like to meet some likeminded people, I'm starting to feel a bit lonelyDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Kerri can you remind me on Monday? My two housemates are from Cardiff, so I will ask them for you, but they're not here this weekend!
I requested my Paypal funds last week, but they've not come yet. How long does it usually take? This is my first withdrawal and I think someone said it can take a month (?) but I can't remember.0 -
Thank you

Congratulations!!! :j:j:j:j I can't wait for that to be me....
Today my last statement arrived and I've now added back the interest, leaving me with a monthly sum of £565 paid off, which is a massive improvement on Jan but I must do better if I'm to succeed by Xmas. Sooooooo new grand total is:

If the OH and I can save as much as we have paid off since 1st Janaury I'll be very impressed!0

Really tight with money this week.
We need bread, butter maybe some milk and some potato waffles. And I have £3.20 plus whatever is in my piggy bank. Hmmm

Congratulations fritterprincess:T:j:beer:
I have paid the £1000 already counted off the mortgage tonight and it is the first time I have ever seen DH excited and motivated about our :money: efforts. I think I might have found his trigger :rotfl:
I have also put aside another £375 repayment into a savings account on hold until I find out what DH wages will be on the 28th. It is sol frustrating as I want to pay it off now and keep DH enthusiasm going.:D
On top of this £375 I am expecting:
£40 lift money
£170 selling 2 phones
£283 capital repayments to edf and secured x DD
This leaves me £132 to find to reach my £1000 target this month. I am hoping this will come from being under budget in some areas and under budget on the £100 I have budgeted for my MOT and service. DH is in the trade so I only pay for the test and parts. He is my free labour;)
DH says he thinks I will be able to pay off £2000 next month as it the month he gets his bonus so we will wait and see.
Oh I have decided to get the cheapest tarriff I can on a refurbished iPhone 4 to replace the dodgy old one of DHs that doesn't work properly I am using (DS gave mine a bath in a cup of tea:eek:). The phone is free and the tariff I have found is £10 cheaper than I pay now:). I am also cancelling my monthly lotto DD because my old email was hacked and may accidentally on purpose forget to set it back up;). I am planning to cancel my annual prescription cert as well as I am eating less and less bread products and this is what it covers mainly so I am not getting my money's worth. This will save £25/month which I can then overpay:DSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750
