It's raining heavily where I am, no sight of snow yet. I'm planning to go to the cinema later on.
Just did my accounts for today and made a £11.65 PAD. I got a 0% balance transfer card and I'm really keen to get up-to-date balances for everything. At least I can keep myself busy making plans on how to arrange my payments and with the thought that I'm going to save a lot of money on interest.Targets: [STRIKE]OD1 300[/STRIKE] OD2 1500 CC1 4950 CC2 1495 (Loan: 10,000 0%)

Congratulations on the job ruby. I'm sure it will be brilliant.
I'm just going to check the finances and see if I can get some extra to pay off as I have been feeling a bit demotivated at the moment. I do have a few more PPi claims in at the moment so fingers crossed.
You all seem to be doing well.:T I must promise to log on every day to keep me motivated.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

That was my latest update, but I have put a load of stuff on fleabay so I am hoping to pay off quite a bit in the next 2 weeks. hello everyone. no debt busting to report here sadly.
still 9 days until payday.
here is what i want to buy currently:
1. party dress and pumps for daughter (party) £26.
2. wool to complete a project im working on and start another (approx) £30.
3. couple of bits from marks and sparks which will allow me to wear a couple of bits i already have (again approx) £30.
now i dont think thats unreasonable. particularly for daughter. bless her normally she will come up with a dress and shoes for closer to £100 so i was really pleased that she chose something from new look without me even prompting her.
so do i stick it on the credit card and enjoy the bits we want. this will mean a smaller payment next month but wont put the actual debt free date back.
also ive been ill with the flu so im feeling a bit sorry for myself and need cheering up lol.
on the plus side i havent been out for nearly two weeks so i havent spent a penny lol xx0 -
Hi peops, good news to report. Thanks for the positive ebay thoughts suzitiger, they worked a treat. I was hoping for something in between £30 and £40. It all added up to £38.60 so even allowing for fees we can eat this week, yea! :j
I've already listed 6 more things in the hope that we will eat next week too - how overly dramatic is that! I probably have enough in freezer and cupboard to last a fortnight but there's always something needed isn't there :cool:Debt Free 🍾 since 6.8.13 £31,997Saving for 🎄 🎁 2025 £608/£730 83%6 mth 🆘 fund £6kMortgage offset fund £24.7k/£37.5k 65.8%It turns out the answer to my problems wasn’t at the bottom of this tub of ice-cream, 🍨 but the important thing is that I tried...0 -
Hi all! The stray bunny has just gone home!!! His owners were so grateful - offered some cash as a reward but we politely refused. We did ask where they got their bun from though as my parents would love one
Good deed for the weekend = done ...
Just as well we didn't have to keep him I suppose - would've been extra money in vet costs, in accommodation, food etc.
Will be able to add to the total at the end of the week, woohoo
Feels like I've paid .... not a lot! lol. 0 -

The plan for OH's DMP is to wait until we're paid at the end of the month and write to the creditors to see if they will accept a reduced F&F payment ... Fingers crossed!0
