hi, I have heard a few people talk about mystery shop. How do you get to do this please? x

There are various sites like retai1eyes, retai1active, grassr00ts. I've worked for all of them when I was a student. It was great at first, but the longer I did it, the fewer jobs I could qualify for. They usually pay something like £5 for your time and maybe £10 reimbursement depending where you shop. Sometimes I really struggled to find anything in store costing less than the reimbursement though, which leaves you out of pocket, and it can take hours to fill in the reports. I probably earned £250 over a year, but it was a lot of work!

Finally got all the money through for my eBay items, so need to cash it all in and distribute! I'm so desperate to make extra cash just now, I'm about ready to sell things I still need!

We don't have Sky movies but we did try Love Film, it's pretty good value for us cos we used to buy dvds for the weekend and well we've built up quite a ocllecting... so £11 for the unlimited DVD rentals plus online streaming works well for us!

Virgin is still really high though, mainly cos OH "has" to have skysports!!!!
  • Oh man, my current spreadsheet has got me so confused! I need to sort out my accounts because atm, if I lost my spreadsheet, I wouldn't know what belongs where.

Update after all my latest fleabay sales:

    #141 £48.38/3250=1.49%

Got a few more items due to finish this weekend, and after this weekend, I should have a good idea of how much money I will have left at the end of the month, so I'll be able to make a decent update then.
  • A payment of £38 for me today; making my new figures:

In theory we should have about £400 left this month. But whether we will or not remains to be seen!!! Need to stop being impulsive!

Sent off my old blackberry to Mazuma this evening. I am a bit nervous as it has a scratch on the screen, but I am hoping I will get my £40. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I don't know if they still do but Carphone W*rehouse used to take phones for money. I took in my Samsung Galaxy S2 and got £200 for it! And it had a huge scratch on the screen from where sand scratched it. They put it into your bank, takes about 7 days.

I just felt that was easier than sendign it off in the post, I knew what I could get there and then.
