I've been pretty happy the past few weeks but this weekend has been very draining and all I want to do is cry :( Got a week off work next week which is much needed because I am so behind on my work !!!

Just looked at my LW account - only £530 left, yay

Watch a soppy film and let it all out, then you will feel more refreshed for your week off :)

Hi all. It's half term here and I've got the week off. I am treating DD to ice skating tomorrow after she was so good last month when I had to go away with work unexpectedly. Apart from that though trying to keep costs to a minimum this week. O/D still looking pretty good buts can't declare the reduction til payday so it's accurate.

Might have a shuffle so I can get off £0 paid ;)

This thread moves fast just checking in. I've made zilch extra this month and it's already the 7th although just bagged a mystery shop job in Toni and Guy not wages but a hundred pounds worth of cut and colour. Still don't feel I can pay the £100 of my card as I wouldn't have paid that for a haircut. My Man has got a 2nd job cleaning an extra £50 a month but as food has gone up so much I'm not sure we'll be banking much of that. Running out of things to sell, thinking about buying to sell but a bit scared.

hi, I have heard a few people talk about mystery shop. How do you get to do this please? x

  • Hi all,

I'm feeling fed up today. My car broke down in Cornwall yesterday while I was visiting my parents for the weekend. It had a new clutch before Xmas which cost ne £700 and is still sitting on my 0% card. This time its the gearbox I think, and the alternator light has come on too. I could just cry:(

I am so grateful to my parents who lent me their car to take home to the Midlands, but now I have to drive another 4 hours each way this weekend to take it back.

I might go backwards this month :(:(

Hey Ruby, hope your first day is going well.

I haven't done any debt busting recently but on the plus side I haven't got into any more debt! :TGot all the yearly out goings for my car at the end of the month. So think I will keep all the extra cash for then. Anything left over I will put on debt.

I've been really good on the shopping this month, two weeks on the trot I have spent under £50. Normal its £80 plus per week.

I am loving this forum. Everyone is so friendly and encouraging. Keep up the good work :T:A:T

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hello all,

Work has been really busy for the past few weeks including a lot of weekend and evening work so I've not had time to keep up MSE. Have I missed any gossip?

Payday on Friday :) Waiting on my CC statement arriving, have paid £550 off it this month so hoping I've really dented it at last. Still looking at being debt free for June though I may have to up what I pay on the CC each month.

Did I say that Hubby cancelled Sky Sports n Movies? Saving us £32 a month and now he just watches footy on his laptop so I can actually watch TV - not that there's anything on worth watching these days!

Will come back and update once the CC bill arrives xx
