    What happens if you don't meet your target? Does everyone meet up and throw rotten tomatoes at you or something? :D

    Count me in too please. Have £5,213 to go. Will be aiming to earn more through babysitting and spend less through grocery challenge and general cutting back. Debt free this time next year will be an amazing feeling!

    Hello and welcome :) How often do you babysit? It's something I reckon I could enjoy, I could spend the time surfing the net on MSE! :rotfl:

    Welcome to all the new people! I'm happy today as I've been accepted for a 0% credit card. Okay, so they've only given me a £1500 limit but it means I can transfer £1500 off the highest rate CC -we have nearly £10K on 2 cards, one at 27% and one at 25% :eek: (This was pre MSE when I didn't realise you could reject rate rises :mad:)

    Baby steps maybe, but we'll get there in the end.....

    It makes all the difference - congrats!

    Lol yes, you are put in stocks and everything.

    Now there's an incentive :rotfl::rotfl:

    I'm glad this doesn't happen, if it was on a sliding scale I'd be for it because I was £44k short of my target last year :rotfl::rotfl:

  • I'd love to be debt free by the end of 2013. I have £1520 to pay back, which shouldn't be too hard, but my lodger is due to leave in march so i will need to rethink my spending if that happens. Good luck everyone!
    July 2015 - £7800 to pay off
