    momentous occasion for the jakesmum household today :D went to Tesc0 and spent £107 :eek: :eek: £50 was the kids christmas money 'hole in pocket' syndrome so they coughed up at till, had £7 off £60 spend, £17 in clubcard coupons so my bill was actually only £33 which I paid with CASH!! real pound notes ladies and gents :eek: I even had my debit card out ready im so used to having to use it :D

    Loving this having money thing :j we decided to have an extra 'item off the list' and spent a humungous £12 on some new mugs :rotfl: for the first time in 15 years I have more than 2 mugs with the same pattern on them! Proof my life is going in the right direction :rotfl:

    Thats weird, as I must have a couple of dozen upstairs and the trader I bought them from guaranteed they were indeed real. They may not be legal tender but there are very definitely real pound notes out there

  • Phew - caught up! Fast moving as always - this thread is already the Spagbol!x Love it - our first thread in-joke :rotfl:

    I have already been paid for New Years Eve so now need to work out my first update. Been at the prosecco so will wait for tomo :D

    Like the sound of the Booze-free-days in Jan rather than total abstinance as I have couple of friends' birthdays. May sign up for 28 NBDs :beer:
