I sympathise my DH is also self employed - it's all a bit scary, if they don't get any work they don't get any pay :eek:Life's little instructions- Treat everyone you meet like you want to be treated..Watch a sunrise at least once a year..Strive for excellence not perfection:j£2 SC no.70 £140/£350SPC no.73 SPC9 £248 SPC10 target £250DFBX12 No. 069 £7719 / £7719 DEBT FREE 30/11/122013 mfw No.4 MORTGAGE FREE 5/8/130 -
My OH is also self-employed. Luckily we can survive on my salary alone, which we did for three years until a year ago. Unfortunately it's very tight on one salary so we couldn't pay off much debt.Targets: [STRIKE]OD1 300[/STRIKE] OD2 1500 CC1 4950 CC2 1495 (Loan: 10,000 0%)

It can seem very scary seeing all your debt in one lump sum but don't worry too much, you're in the right place to deal with it
Just bought my first xmas pressie for 2013 in the sales, a royal jelly gift set from B00ts at half price. Mum asks for one every year so I thought may as well save myself a few quid:D0 -

Thats a brilliant reduction :T:T I am finding the last 20% hardest to shift, but I'm determind to do it in 2013!February 2021 GC £301.45 / £300.00
March 2021 GC £266.41 / £280.00
April 2021 GC £53.19 / £300.000 -
I want to join in please. we have about £14000 of debt will have definite figures on Sunday. I want to clear all this by December 31/2013 they have been hanging around long enough.it's like a heavy weight on my shoulders all the time and causes sleepless nights. we have more than enough to pay it back its just a case of getting on with it.You can if you think you can .0

A small fleabay sale means I have £290 in my safety pot :j BUT a Christmas overdraft seems to have crept up on us
so any more fleabay sales (and payments that would have gone to NR before we paid it off) will go towards that for a bit. We'll just have to hunker down for Jan and Feb  Grrr I thought I had all this debt lark sorted.

Don't feel too disheartened lemon, you have the means to pay the OD and still have your safety pot AND you're equiped to deal with it0
