We need new pans because the nonstick stuff keeps coming off in my food  you should've seen the custard yesterday :rotfl:

Yuck! I hate that! The only non-stick pan I've got now is a frying pan, and the first sign of it coming off it goes in the bin!

    Well done on the catalogue!

  • I'm just worried about doing the film thing as it can apparently damage the panes when you pull it off and as we rent I need to keep the damage to a minimum :(

It can take the paint off, but you can touch the paint up. And if you run a hot damp cloth over the tape before you peel it off, that also minimises the damage. When we took it off, there were only a couple of bits where a very small amount of paint came away.

Aaargh! I'm £150 over budget this month.:eek::( It has been SUCH a long time since pay day.

:grouphug:January is a hard month to get through, don't get too down about it you've still got next month to claw back some of the overspend, and February's only a shortie. :)

  • I STILL haven't managed to catch up but I have made £100 on ebay this weekend :j:j:j
Just wanted to share with you as it was totally unexpected. Unfortunately it won't be going towards a debt (I wish it could) but it will be the holding deposit for the new house instead, as I was going to have to borrow this off the OH it is a nice suprise for him that I can pay for it myself now :money:
I hope everyone is well and enjoying the snow, not long until the first payday of the challenge now.....:j

  • Nice work, Suzitiger! I'm feeling dispirited about ebay. Such a lot of work involved in listing things; all that photography and whatnot, and then it either doesn't sell or it sells for peanuts. Maybe I don't have the right sorts of things to sell; just clothes (nice formal ones) and DVDs, and that sort of thing. If I sit down and work out the hourly rate, I feel like I'd be better off just giving it all to charity and finding a proper second job instead. What sorts of things are you selling?

Just rambling because it's payday today but not for another few hours, and I really, really want this damned total to go down again. DH tells me that his old HR assures him that he will get his payout this Thursday (like they said last fortnight, and the one before...), so that should take a big chunk off as well, but if he doesn't get it I'm going to scream.

Right must dash I've got to get through the snow with my aged 4x4 to pick up other hospital staff! DH is at home with the kids, school closed and trains to the bog smoke up the spout, wish I could stay at home with them :(

Have a good day everyone, stay safe
