Sale was a Wednesday last year and the year before as I work Mon, Wed and Fri (and it was deffo not a Mon or Fri) and arranged to get to work a bit later so I could go to the sale!!! (Not that I gave that as my reason - lol!)

I have an arrangement with my boss, she gives me a list of what she wants, and I can come in late! (although I'm on maternity leave this time)
Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

  • Wednesday 16th would be nice, I'm day off! Couldn't get there this year so missed out. Did manage to treat myself online Xmas eve with my advantage points tho!

Fingers crossed we manage to get stuff x
  • Offers always change on a Wednesday except the special Xmas sets (work there)

I know you're all saying around the 16th for the 75% sale and this has been the same this year etc. well I'll be keeping my eye out in my local store this weekend as I redeemed my points for one FCUK set then 2 other small sets on the 6th January and the 12th January. For the other sets I bought on the 6th, I used my mums card and gave her the money instead :-p Shall be doing the same this year again lol

EDIT: For some reason I can't post a picture but here's the link to where I have used my points in January this year at the sale :-)

Was just on the boots site and noticed that there has just been an update, not much but a few toys have been put on (thundercats, playmobil etc) & also there has been some baby slings, cots, strollers put on in the half price sale just now.
  • Thanks , just got myself a much needed diary plus some cheap tights and the Nerf gun for £2 , was tempted by the £4 Sanctuary set etc but have enough toiletries to last a good while already!!

They seem to have added a few new gift sets etc ... I thought they didn't add to my basket as a red error message came up but they did add to it even though I took them out again

I love the £6 paint your own tea set but my Granddaughter is only 8 months old so a bit young for it yet! xx

However, This years sales have not been 'normal' in my opinion.....
Always on the hunt for a bargain.
  • My huge box arrived yesterday of bits I'd ordered on Christmas Eve. I'm really happy with most of the bits and have got a few of my birthday presents for the year sorted, but there was no protective packaging in the box at all, so two of the items are quite bashed. Add this to the pjs I bought in store in the sale, they were supposed to be a large & someone had swapped the top for a small so they had to go back...I can't face going back in there AGAIN to swap the bashed boxes, especially as my local Boots is small so they won't have replacements.
