  • Well I got one order today from store, the other which I mistakenly ended up selecting hope delivery for and was due to be delivered today has been 'damaged' and returned according to the customer service agent I spoke to
I only happened to notice as I checked the tracking and assumed that as I had not been in all day they had returned it but on calling I was told the 'damaged' story, I'm not sure why but I just don't buy this, I asked if I could have a refund on the damaged items and was told the whole order was ruined, It was one of each of the soap and glory sets which I have no chance of replacing now and were for all the female members of our family for christmas :(
They have given me some points but it doesn't come close, what do you make of this? does it sound a bit fishy to you?
  • I had the exact same sort of carry on with one of the marks and Spencer's fabled hampers, it would drive you mad!

Did you track the parcel on the couriers website? As it would prove if the order was actually dispatched and received by the courier then see if it arrived at the depot.

When I had a problem with their courier last year I was compensated 10,000 points which I was happy with since it was a problem with the delivery man and not Boots' at fault.

The 75% sale is always on a Wednesday. I may try online this year, but will probably end up in store straight after the school run.

The tracking on the boots website looks like it was dispatched but then further on it says' not recieved by courier' and then 'returned to depot'.

    Xmas Saver!
Must admit I have never seen the logic behind the way they do their sale.
Out of stock on-line at 50% off, but stores full of stock 3 weeks later at 75% off.

Which is great if you can get to the shops on the day, but very annoying if you cannot.

I am off work on the suggested Wednesday, but suffer with claustrophobia, so will give it a miss I think.
  • Yeah I remember it well last year and it was a wednesday in my local as I work wednesdays. I'm hoping its a wednesday this year too as I can swing by before work "child free" :-) there wasn't much left last year hoping there is more this year.
