    Angel this Morning was quiet.
Lots of Mini hair sets, loads of wrapping paper, and a few No 7 make up sets.
No sanctuary or champneys, but I got that online.

Just went back to the Chester store (I live in the city and am not working right now!) because I forgot to buy some non sale bits I wanted this morning - d'oh! I popped down to the sale area, still busy and the shelves had been DECIMATED! Whole aisles were empty and staff were rapidly condensing what was left - mainly sanctuary (lots still), men's FCUK sets and Ted Baker sets. Still some Dove and some random Fearne, Gok, Botanics, House of Holland bits and pieces, oh and quite a few Twinings tea caddies. Didn't look at wrapping etc.

Anyway, while I was waiting to pay I was idly looking at the display of Jamie Christmas spiced puddings, marked at 3.50 (half price). Thought I'd pick one up and see if it was 75% off - it went through at 87p! So I got two more. There are still about 15 on the display by the self service tills.

Heard a couple discussing how quickly they could get stuff up online and there were a few people paying when I left that had literally trollies of stuff. I honestly wonder how successful people are selling this stuff online, I wouldn't have thought many people would buy it.
  • I have just finished stashing everything away in the top of the wardrobe, just managed to fit it all in! Now need to write a list of every item in there and who it is for, otherwise I will forget and will end up buying more stuff! :)

I am extreamly jealous of the people who have been lucky with s&g.

Me too! All these people saying their stores had loads. We was right at the front and there wasn't a single set :(

I've only recently found how lovely it is! Does anyone know if s&g is ever on sale in boots throughout the year?
  • I went to the prospect centre boots in hull, got there about 10 to 9 and it was manic! People guarding 5 or 6 big bags, and quite a bit of pushing and shoving.
Last year there was aisles upstairs and downstairs but was only downstairs this year.

    I got,
White collection box for the eye mak and hand towel
White collection hand wash and lotion for the bathroom
    Disney Minnie mouse gift box
    Couple of botanical gifts sets
    2 fcuk sets
2 fcuk boxers and socks gift sets
Then was just about to pay when someone brought a crate of toys out and managed to get a playskool toy (£22 rrp)
Fisher price baby train (same) and a playmobil police van (£30 rrp!!)
There was also a few star wars and dr who Lego sets and moxie dolls? People were going mad for them!
The sales people didn't even unpack the crates, just left people to ransack them!
Also got a buzz light year watch.

Oh bought 4 packs of the fcuk boxers gift sets for himself and got me some hurts bees tummy butter and stretchmark oil (am 7 months pregnant)

I spent £44 and saved (:rotfl:) £128, no way would have bought these full price!

Got £10 on my card and will be saving these up during the year for the toy sale later!
  • Was not a single S&G in sight for me neither - not that I need any more.

There were so many slippers left! Lol
