Which of the gifts set have vouchers in? Not so much bothered about using them myself (though I will...:o) but don't want to leave them in as I guess they will expire by xmas.

the champneys sets have 500 points vouchers in them when you spend £10 on selected products

    No 7 Ultimate Collection,
    Ted Baker Set
Dove Set (and 2 extra for my mom)
FCUK (one with Boxers and Socks)
    FCUK (one with the belt)
    No 7 Eye Palette

also had a Soap and Glory but passed that onto someone else as I had 2 sets as xmas pressies and really didnt need another...

Although it was quite civilised in there I felt sorry for my other half who had his foot run over twice by trollies... So many trollies... I wish people would just buy what they wanted for themselves and friends and not go too overboard (Ebayers) some horrific stories on here today really makes you think about what is important....

But thank you ladies for all your input on here, Shall put the prospective date in my diary for next year :):rotfl:

    2013 wins...angry birds knex.
  • I woke up at 3am just randomly and had a quick look online. Bought about £50 worth. Disappointed the Philosophy things haven't been reduced further but got lots of other things. Can't even get out the house for snow today so haven't headed to Norwich. I know buses were not even running early this morning unless on main roads.

Glad people have done well this year.

Stood outside my local boots in a queue feeling a little sad! I can report there are no fat chavs!
I got to my Boots at few minutes past 8, expecting to have to queue in the cold til 9, only to find they had opened early. As I was half way up the main isle I was nearly run over by aforementioned fat chav heading towards the checkouts with her trolley of make up sets and crackers. She must be 50, with more foundatipn and eye shadow caked on than an entire schoolyard of teenage girls. Still wittering on about the orphans christmas party. Mind you, she's grown a beard since last year so I almost didn't recognise her.

At 10.30 Lincoln Boots had lots of bits left, including the large No. 7, FCUK, Ted Baker and Champneys gift sets. There were not many toys - most of them were for toddlers. There were lots of slippers, cards, wrapping paper and a reasonable amount of mens sets.
The large FCUK, Ted Baker and No. 7 gift boxes are straight ahead when you get off the escalator. They are away from the sale area and people did not seem to notice them.
The aisle that backs onto the escalator has empty shelves. Every so often the staff were bringing out loose items and putting them on these shelves. I managed to snag a £60 Soap and Glory set.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread.

Went to my local small store this morning (Orpington) and got one Champneys complete home spa and one Hello Kitty shower and shine. Lots of Fearne hatboxes left :p

Just been online and ordered 2 x Ted Baker star quality to be delivered to my local store on Monday ;)

Hope you all got what you wanted. Until next year folks.......

Don't suppose anybody has seen any No7 ultimate boxes in the Warwickshire/Midlands area in the last hour?
Can't believe how horrible some of those people must be to push and shove and take stuff off a small child.
Disgraceful behaviour and they should be totally ashamed

Very successful trip to Boots in Poole this morning. Had already done two on line shops at 5am this morning so wasnt in too much of a rush. They hadnt put the 75% signs up but as it had started on line it was definately on.

I did feel sorry for several ladies who had obviously been waiting at the front of a small "queue" in front of the main doors as the assistant decided to let people in through a side "employee" entrance )health and safety apparently - although there werent enough people for even a small stampede! so they actually got in last!

Anyway, very civilised although some people were dropping items on floor and not bothering to pick up! Shop assistants were quite happy too, considering the mild panic.
