and the prices :eek: I got the sanctuary winter face £5 some joker selling it at £19.99 plus postage! NO7 set big boxes £30 odd with postage. I think it is abit disgraceful really. I brought afew things, most of us have for personal use or gifts etc. But to buy just to sell on Ebay annoys me. I hope they dont sell at all, it takes away the fun of the sales when people do this0 -
Was at Edinburgh Princes Street for 7.45am this morning, around 9 infront of me, got 3 x No 7 boxes which was great, plenty of Sanctuary and Champneys, a couple of rude women trying to block the aisle where the No 7 stuff was....
V happy with my haul and that's the boxes under the bed filled again to the max!!0 -
I just feel sorry for anyone who would PAY those prices!!
Shocking isn't it? I literally had fisticuffs a couple of years ago with one bloke abusing my mrs because he wanted an entire shelf "for his charity" (yeah right) and she'd picked up 1 set of something or other... Sadly, some people are utterly mercenary.0 -
It was a breeze for us this morning, we went to Stratford Westfield boots and there was only a few people there at opening time (9am), they had around 10 rows of packed out shelves.
Had the help of my lovely boyfriend to help me carry it all like I do every year
I only needed to get male gift sets also got some st tropez for me a nice honey set & a few other bits.
Very happy & thinking of going back ! savings £202
Gift box now full again :j
Here is a pic of my booty for anyone who wants a nose:A0 -
Only three people waiting at my local Boots at 8am - got chatting to one lady who said the one a couple of miles away had better stock and opens half an hour later. Got some bits and bobs and decided to go have a look and found a No7 Box left on the shelf!, over the moon at my little haul and even remembered to pick up some very cheap gift wrap for next year.
DD will be happy too because the mini hair gift sets with travel size luxury hair stuff in were all waiting for my basket!
Only question now is where to hide it for next year.0 -

Anyone know if you can prove this/ get money back?
I'm not sure if you can take them back as it would be hard to prove that you hadn't removed the items when you got home. I thought I had been clever this year by making a shopping list with a note of how many items were in each box, but forgot to check it in the store and got caught out!0 -
Yay!!!!!!!!!! I got to the big Belfast store at 7:55, there was a queue of about 50 people in front of me (the first lady arrived at 7am apparently, mental).
The queue behind me quickly built up in the 5 minutes before the store opened, and then we were in! Ahhh, the excitement!
I got:
Gorjuss water flask £2.50
Zhu Zhu pets hamster £2.50
2x cartoon watches £2.50 each
Pack of ten gorgeous Christmas cards 87p
Champneys distant shores box £2.50
Champneys handwash and hand cream set £2.50
3x Champneys giant pampering facial boxes £6.25 each
6x Sanctuary facial-in-a-box sets £5 each (so pleased as I love their face products)
There was no No7 or S&G but never mind lol. There was a good selection of everything else.
It's all for my gift cupboard except the Sanctuary facial sets which are all mine!!!!!
Some pushing and shoving was to be seen, but most people were very good-natured.
Shame on those who were rude and abusive, and as for the man who snatched the Dora set from one poster's daughter, words fail me.:eek:
I'm not sure if they'll let you do this... returning, yes, but they usually won't sell it back to you.
Champneys distant shores box £2.50. Thats the one i really wanted but it looks to me in my store that the outter sleeve as been taken off and all boxes have been put out with items thats not in the sale. I was going to take one to the till just to see if it would go through at the sale price but didnt so wish i did nowI Love My Computer Because My Friends Live In It0 -
Just back from bluewater. Lots of trolleys but seemed quite civilised. Lots of ikea bag people!. Blooming traffic was nightmare and didn't get there til 9.05. All no.7, soap n glory and toys gone already. Didn't need much this year as already bought bits elsewhere. Not as many aisles full as last year. Also had extra cages of stuff last year but none today. Still managed to spend £40.0

Dissapointed with the amount on sale at Chatham, was expecting it to be like last year when they had lots. There were no big champneys or No. 7 nor soap and glory. Oh well, will have to be brave and go to Bluewater next year.0
