NOTE: If you get chance in store, please check the contents of any boxes, as my Ted Baker mini hat box was missing the body lotion.

Thank you Northern Mum. I am back at work & I just checked the No. 7 hat box set and a body wash is missing. I usually check boxes but the box didn't look as though it had been opened.

Thanks to all MSE folks at the Cambridge store. Everyone there was very polite. Stock was good when the store opened this morning but it will go quickly. Lots of No. 7, Sanctuary & Mens FCUK. Didn't see any Champneys sets but I may have missed them on the shelf. Overhead an SA saying almost all toys had been sent to another store. HTH someone.
  • Managed to get a No7 box, although it was open and didn't have the seal on that says what's in the box! Checked though and it was full, although had been thrown around a bit!

People pushing and shoving in the sale isle, couldn't believe how much people had in their trolleys/baskets! Surely these people don't have THAT many friends?!

Happy with the bits I got though :) tempted to go to the central branch on my lunch break... Probably got enough though!

East Kilbride was mobbed, lots of people filling 2 and 3 trolleys with stuff. LOADS of bigTed Baker and Champneys. I got one of each and a few Lynx sets for OH. Went for a coffee and walked past at 10 and there were still lots and lots left and the end of normal stock aisles and everything. A few rude people, but in general a calm atmosphere. Glad I went, and doubly glad I only spent enough to get my 200 points for a £20 spend and as it's my birthday month got double points too.

  • Popped down to Cheshire oaks store...lots of mens botanics wash bag sets, loads of slippers, wrapping paper, mark hill brunette minis sets, disney princess tiara sets, loads of the mini no7 nail polish sets. Some minnie mouse sets & bath pouffs. Plenty of male stuff and kids stuff as well. Bit of a let down on womens stuff for me

No pushing & shoving but people having like 5 or more of the blue fabric carriers FULL to bursting of the same stuff gggrrrr and again people trying to grab stuff.
  • I just wanted to post to say a massive thankyou to everyone in this thread :) Whilst I have not posted I have been stalking this thread and managed to get lots of lovely bargains this morning.

I went to drakehouse in sheffield, quite civilised, lots of stock but the sales assistants were amazing! Somehow the till crashed when it came to paying as had the till next to her so I ended up with three assistants unpacking, scanning and repacking my goodies. Then one of them helped me to carry them to my car! Deffo going to send a letter to head office praising them.

Ended up spending £130 which was more than last year but have covered birthdays and xmas for 2013 so really pleased with that.

    Until next year folks :money:

  • Just got back from Swindon, Greenbridge. Busy but reasonably civilised. Managed to grab a good few bargains. Wasn't as much stock as I thought there might be and no Ted Baker (luckily I managed to get a few sets on 27th Dec half price).

Must admit although it was quite calm I was shocked to see people taking one of everything left on the shelves and putting into Tesco bags then sat at the end of the aisle rifling through to see what they actually wanted. Wouldn't mind but they were literally just chucking the unwanted stuff on the floor - no doubt some will now be damaged and unsellable/useable.

    Got my bargains as follows:
FCUK Carry bag gift set £11.25 / £45.00
    ELC Rosie's World Salon £6.25 / £25.00
    Champney Hamper £6.00 / £24.00
    Herb Display Pots Set £4.62 / £18.50
    Bronzing Gift Set £4.00 / £16.00
    6 Luxury Crackers £3.75 / £15.00
    FCUK Gift Set £3.50 / £14.00
    Pineapple Gift Set £3.25 / £13.00
    Beauty Palette £3.00 / £9.75
    Christmas Lantern £2.00 / £8.00
    Gok Bath Jewels £1.50 £6.00

My ticket says a total saving of £147.38 :j but I'm more happy as that's all but the kids sorted for this Christmas.

;) Hope everyone else had the same success ;)

Sometimes they don't put the window signs up until later, all depends if they have the time i guess. My local ones weren't up but were in the window waiting.

Also pleased to say there was 3 men this year at my local! Judging by what they bought there will be some lucky ladies about hahaha. Makes a change to see some men about in a sale!

Which of the gifts set have vouchers in? Not so much bothered about using them myself (though I will...:o) but don't want to leave them in as I guess they will expire by xmas.
  • Massive thank you to everyone on this thread posting about the 75% off. I went to my local very small store (Sittingbourne) expecting nothing (last year they had nothing) but was really pleased to find they had an isle full. I got there at 9.30 and it was lovely and peaceful. everyone friendly, I even went to get a basket for one lady. I managed to gets lots of Christmas/birthday/mothers day bits paid only 49.00 and saved 149.00!! Really pleased with that! Sadly they had no mens sets but hey you cant have it all!

Good luck everyone and Thank you to all posters xx
