I think it really depends on the store for what you get etc.

I saw a few White sets but didn't like look of them so didn't get them.

Got a Jamie Oliver Cheeky Apron, a Parsley and Thyme Bistro Bleu set and the last S&G Lipgloss Palette with cracked mirror - but I can replace that easy I think or just keep for myself.

In Wimbledon seem to be lots of men's stuff left, toys, various slippers etc and other *sets* I think FCUK etc

And yes thanks for heads up re Joules gift voucher inside!

going to trot to Kingston or a Boots Clapham Junction or Merton Abbey Mills after work if I can face it to see what else is left.

just been to my local small store, no one in there, bought loads of no 7 gifts. one bag was £45 down to £11. loads of stuff left, all together came to £40 and said i saved £125!!!!
  • Just came back from the Manchester Market Street store, very busy but lots of items an hour or two ago, with staff bringing out more from the back regularly. There was no Ted Baker sets or Soap and Glory (which was the main ones that I wanted) but absolutely loads of most (if not all) of the sanctuary sets - they had the £50 ones near the food section at the back which most people weren't buying. The kids items (I think) were near the Opticians so they weren't really that noticeable at first.

Got a sanctuary box, nutella gift set with the muffin tins, a few natural collection sets (they had loads of the vanilla ones when I left), a balti spice set, minnie mouse bath puff, some joules soaps, cute or what bath bits - spent about £27 :)

Went to Westwood Cross at 9am and did very well.. left at 10.30 after spending roughly £50. Stacks of stuff and three times as many people this year but all very civilized & friendly! Then went on to Margate and got some more bargains ... quiet and civilized in there as well!
Cheers on us Plant Thanet
I went there this morning aswell. I picked up a few items then realised i couldnt carry anymore so i left the 2 baskets by the photo isle and i was so suprised that everytime i came back with more items, my other items were all still there. No-one had pinched any, so i was very happy. Now i Just need to get it all in the roof before my daughters are home from school as most of it is for them for the next few years.

I know people have said it before, but do just double check all your items are inside the packaging. I've just double checked the ted baker (big set) to see if there were any vouchers inside.. (there wasn't) whilst the packaging still looked intact.. someone had clearly been inside. Everything was there but everything had been looked at and someone had randomly placed 2 scrunched up boots bags in there?
  • Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread over the last few days. Got up at 5.30 with OH only to have the website crashing every few minutes.

Drove Into Aberdeen after putting DS to school got there around 9.45 to find it very busy but very civilised. Everyone being polite and no one blocking aisle with buggys etc. Also had superb SA's who was helping everyone with their shopping and getting trolleys for those who needed.

Overall spent £140 but had a saving of around £400 so well pleased. Present cupboard will not need refilling for a very long time x
    MFW - currently at £23,610 (Aug 2014) MFD 2020
  • OMG - went to Trafford Centre with hubbie, got there at 9.50am, there was at least 150 people queing.
A lot of shoving and pushing felt quite scared stuck in middle of it all at one point.
Got lots of cheaper sets for me and my girls.store was empty by 10.45am.
Hope everyone got what they was after!

Went to Bristol Broadmead. Got there at 7.59 and was one of the forst in the door. About 25 people there. Lots of people buying loads of stuff. There were heaps of Champneys sets, a bit of No7 , loads of FCUK.
All very civilised and I only spent about £25.00 which was all points. I got the only Sanctuary perfume set, a jewellery box , a Champneys candle and difusser set and some Keyrings and nail varnis for my daughter.
Then went back to car and was charged £6.00 for 75 minutes parking!!
Popped into Asda to use up some APG'S and got some of the Castrol Gtx Car Oil at £12.00 each instead of £20.00.
Then my sis brought my m&s socks that she picked up for me.

Now back to cleaning and waiting for water board to fit water meter.
Hope everyone got what they wanted today.
