Look at the blooming time again, I really am my own worst enemy. It's really no wonder I spend the day in a daze !
Quick catch up and will try some sleep.

Quidsy ooh that is a dilemma about the games console, have you decided what to do. As I caught up on the thread I read about your mammoth cooking session- well just stop bragging lady, you are making me feel really quite guilty :) I seem to be wading through treacle, making a mess and getting nowhere. xxxo
Nic sending lots of love and hugs. Don't be so hard on yourself, please make a little time for you :) Hope the house inspection goes well xxx
Pinksteps rant away my lovely. Argh unanswered calls from the hospital, messing DS about. And then OMG the neighbours from hell, you should be very very proud of yourself the way you've kept calm and conducted yourself. They must lead very sad, lonely lives. I'm glad you've sorted DS some good pressies for his big day :) and a freshly painted bathroom- who said karma :) xxx
Pigpen aww you've got your tree, I'm so pleased its up :) I can't see the littles, says I can't on the iPad for some reason but I've seen some gorgeous photos of them before so know how blinking cute they are :) Marvin made me giggle :) xxx
Bladerunner thanks for the invite, I'd be round in a shot if I knew where you lived, sounds perfect X
Linky your room looks fab :) wow :) What's DS had to say now it's done? I know your DD has been a madam at the mo but it's horrible being that age isn't it- I kno I kno no excuse but trust me she'll grow out of it- and realise what a wonderful job you are doing xxx
Freespirit aww my lovely, you've really been through it this week :( and you were doing so well! I just love your chocolate station, I need one I really do. Might do one for DDs she likes it as does DGD2. Will give it some thought or save it for next year. As I'm going nowhere fat this year!
Fluffysox oh my word, you are not supposed to be tidy!!! What are you thinking :) Santa express sounds exciting :) xxx
Morgy ouch :( Oooh a sore thumb is so painful. And DH and the cooker door, what a time of year to be replacing that! Yep blooming men! X
Feisty how did your festive baking go? I downloaded an app that lets you listen to YouTube on the iPad woo hoo but then couldn't work out how to play your playlist! Baby steps ha, it'll be January before I work it out. Then my festive baking went wrong too. Decided to call it a day. Although I've two lots of pastry in the fridge so hopefully tomorrow will be better in the Nana Kitchen ! xxx
Debndot aww my lovely, you can always come on here and chat, rant, laugh or cry we've done it all together this last year. It really is the nicest place to be, somebody is always around to make you feel better with wise words or a shoulder or just an ear. It's really helped me. More I think than you'll ever know. I'm glad DH is enjoying his new position xxx
Chrissy Oooh first thing in the morning get that cheque in and prepare to treat yourselves :) I think we should have a "me" day and official day/hour/even 10 mins Linky what do you think? xxx
Mrsinvisible I'm going to try your system tomorrow - I've really nothing to loose. Nothing else is working. A few years ago I adopted something I'd read somewhere - 15 mins per room, non stop and don't come out of room, I set the alarm on my phone and it did work but like so many other things I gave it up. Might try tomorrow and reward myself with a coffee - thank you for the inspiration. Now you rest up tomorrow. Don't want you poorly/ overdoing it :) xxx
Ruth totally missed the Elf-a-thon and I love that film! Glad you enjoyed it xxx
Artytarty pop in whenever you like, you are very welcome :) Think Feistys doing the mince pies and Freespirit has hot chocolate :) X
Msgigglewick oh no, you poor thing. How awful, I'm glad you've help this week. Oooh DHs big 4 0 :) xxx
Fevertotell wow, all sounds so festive :) busy tho, please find time to be kind to yourself too xxx
Choccymoose aww it's been so worth the effort, your room is looking fab already. Bet you can't wait to see it done now. Have you chosen your paper? xxx
Aliaslotte glad you popped in, I've wondered often how your jobs been going. I think it's usual in school to feel a bit all Christmased out, your festive spirit will return when that final bell rings for the hols. Of course by then you'll be shattered! xxx
Craftymummy I'm so sorry to hear about your Gran. I'm sure after her funeral, your Christmas spirit will return, it'll be hard I know. I'd love to see Matilda on stage I bet it was fab, such a good story - DGD1&2 and I love the film too xxx
Hanley oh my word, if you hadn't laughed you'd have cried wouldn't you. Good girl for choosing to laugh :) Hope tomorrow's better xxx

Linky may I add to the aims list for this week please

    1) finish signs x 3
    2) post cards
    3) festive baking
    4) finish wrapping
    5) have lovely long chat/ coffee with BFF
    6) finish sweet bouquets/wreaths and trees

My have bitten off a little more than I can chew but hoping by Sunday 15th 10am when I sit down for the panto that I'm pretty much done!
DGD2s birthday and big party on the 20/22nd DD has lists of jobs for me so need to get a wriggle on with my stuff first. Wish me luck xxx

Son from another Mum has big multidisciplinary team meeting Wednesday with Renal/Cardio and Liver teams so we will by then have answers and I'm hoping an action/care plan X

The BD is yapping so please Mrsinvisible hob nailed boots slinging in my direction and Feisty are the chinchillas free? xxx

Nanamia, we have decided that as the fire will now be the feature of the lounge, we will be painting it all magnolia, with red accents, like the rug, pictures cushions etc. We have already painted the blue wall magnolia and it opens the whole room up again. We are keeping our eyeout for the right peice of driftwood to go above the fire but temporarily it will just be magnolia with the fire in the resess and mirror above.

Which panto are you going to? We are thinking of going to our local am dram one which was fab last year, but not sure whether we need to with going on the polar express next week hmmmm

furball - Beautiful tree!! Is that red and gold? We're thinking of adding a bit of red back in this year, we've had just silver for a couple of years now.
Pinksteps Teddy is gorgeous! Great picture I love that kind of picture of animals
MrsChristmas Love the Christmassyness :D your shower curtain :o! Wow!
mrs-moneypenny I really like the contrast sleeves, I love it when that happens though when you run out of something so have to adjust a little but then the alterations look even better than the original idea, I think they make it look proper Christmas jumpery :D
Arthien cartoons don't bother me but I hate comedys and I'm not a fan of childrens films...But... I LOVE the Nativity it is so so funny! The Nativity 2 is my Christmas eve viewing this year :)

I am not having a very good day :( I went into town earlier with plans of spending my Cash for clothes money but only had enough time to get my uncles errands done in the end :( boo. I did go to try get more of the cute little deer I got a few weeks ago and they were totally sold out, thought they would though as they were so cute and ridiculously cheap, but still boo they are too cute! I've been at WI Christmas party tonight, which was fine... but I just wanted to be in bed I'm having time of the month problems which I know everyone has, but the problem is I haven't, I've had 10 years of easy hassle free, it sucks big time :(
    Meh

On a much nicer and much more Christmassy note... I watched Naughty or nice last night after someone said about it on here I really enjoyed it, I do like a Christmas film that doesn't centre around children ( that sounds kind of scroogy :/ ... but I'm sure you know what I mean... I hope...).

    Thankyou for the kind comments.
Pixtotts, yes its a green tree with just red and gold baubles. No tinsel or anything. It's pre-lit with 400 lights and 7ft tall. My last tree was 12 years old. When I replaced it I promised myself the easiest tree possible. Had this 4 years now and I still love it.
Hugs to all who need them.

Pixtotts-glad you enjoyed it. I know what you mean about children free Christmas films. Sometimes they can be too cutesy, can't they? (the ones with kids in, I mean)

Loving the pics again. Please keep sharing, everyone.

Had a Christmas film free day today! We got Broadchurch out from Lovefilm and started watching it over the weekend. Only intended to watch one more episode tonight, but ended up finishing the series. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but...wow! What a brilliant show. No wonder everybody was raving about it.

Right, bedtime for me. Night all!
