Am at work, but just found out I have a household. Dds school was shut early. The next town (kids go to dds school ) has been evacuated. They expect the tide to be higher than in 1953. ( people died that year). It is expected to hit on the early hours of tomorrow. We already have trees down today. Roads closed. Gale force winds. It's pouring with rain.

Just hope I can get home. I have to drive over marsh land only 1/4 mile inland. It will be a long drive if it not passable.

Oh my goodness. Seems to be getting worse here. I rode the motorbike to the gym earlier and the wind wasn't fun, but it wasn't far to go. Hubby has about 15 miles to ride home and it's worse now than when I was out. Hope everyone is ok. That trampoline flight worried me-two gardens away! Scary! Stay safe, everyone.

Just settling down to watch Love Actually. Ready everybody..."CHRISTMAS is all around us..."
Seen this film so many times that I can try and read my book at the same time. Although I love the scenes with Joanna Page, so end up watching those. :)

just popping in quickly before I run out the door...
FeistyFidget your shops facebook is killing me! If I lived closer you could just have moved it all into my room! The other day I was trying to figure out if I could move stuff round enough to fit in a chest of drawers today its a vanity table... (if only I could justify the 5 hour round trip... :/).

Omo, I'm really worried now. Please let us know when you're home safe.

    Curly, I love that tree!

Pixtots, bless you my lovely - I wish I had room for most of it too, as it is really disheartening seeing it all go for such a low amount :(

is this not the worst thing ever
(mind you it would make a jokey addition to a gamers hamper:rotfl:)

went into our shopping centre last week cant say i noticed the deccys did see santa the 'grotto' was like a large plastic bubble that children queued up to go into and see santa it had fake snow in the bottom that he kept picking up and trying to get them to throw not sure if it was supposed to be fluttering round but nothing was happening it just dropped.
DH said it looked like the PC elfs had dictated santa could no longer be trusted with children in an enclosed grotto any more so they'd gone for the goldfish bowl effect instead

OMO are you home safely yet??? please post soon
