Nanamia I love packing too.:j
My best tip is lay all your long items at the bottom of the case with the waist hanging over the edge.
You can do this with skirts, dresses and even shirts.
Then pack your case.
When finished, fold the legs etc back over the packed clothes.
This way you don't get pressed fold marks in the longer clothing, as they are wrapped around the inner clothes.0 -
My nan (who equally brought me up) has sadly got alzheimers and after caring for her within the family for almost a year, we could no longer cope. She had been put into a home and to pay for a decent one her house has had to be sold.
I was there today with my cousin and our husbands (nan's children are useless so has been left to us) clearing the house. We were breaking up furniture, throwing things in the skip and boxing things up. We all looked for my fitbit once we realised it was missing but there are literally hundreds of places it could beI don't think it will turn up. I'm tempted to use my birthday money to buy another, but part of me thinks I don't deserve one for losing the first so soon after buying it

Fiesty you sound like me a year ago as my Mum went into a home and we had to get the house sorted to rent it out to afford the home. My Mum had changed so much and kept so much clutter and carp. Between this and being upset I was all over the place. Please be a bit kinder to yourself and realise how difficult it is at this time. I lost things and could not sleep. It may not turn up but remember it is just a thing and can be replaced. Look after yourself. Lorraine xSealed Pot Challenge 1441

Ff It is annoying but not live threatening. It is a lost OBJECT, which can be replaced.
As my lovely Nan would have said ' Worse things happen at sea.'
And her uncle died at sea, so she knew what she was talking about.
Stop beating yourself up. Easier said than done, but do try.
And I think the job you was doing when you lost it, may be having more impact on your feelings than the actual lose. xx0 -

Oh you do deserve to spend your money on whatever you want. I told my DS that you lost it and his reply was "well mum at least you'll never be bottom of your friends list", trust him to think like that.0 -
I have just caught my hand, and now have a blood blister on my knuckle. I cannot believe that something so small can hurt so much.:(

Oh I can, I was cutting up an old bank card today and snipped the bottom of my finger. Really tiny and insignificant but boy do I know it's there.0 -

That made me chuckle AND has given me the push to get a new one ASAP
OMO you are probably right re the feelings. It just didn't help when DH told me I should never have been wearing it (didn't think, just automatically put it on this morning) - men! I do hope your finger stops hurting[/COLOR]2024 Challenges
