JJ bless you. You really are inspirational. Your day sounds perfect xxx

Well I now am crying happy tears. The most kindest thing has just happened. I've just had a pm from a lurking Christmas lover, who will remain nameless. I have never had any contact with this lovely and yet she's just offered to send me her copy of the Gavin And Stacey Christmas Special. This truly is a wonderful place to be xxx

Morning, I am still swamped under orders, just about to put the Polar express on for my DD and try and get some done. I feel bad plonking her infront of the telly so I can work, but it will soon be over and we can do lots of festive things in Dec together.

I sat last night and did most of my shopping on Littlewoods. I really wish I don't have to, but I am well into the red each week, so nothing spare for anything. I still need a few more bits for my 8year old, but I don't think anything was full price. Mind you, I opted for the 12 months interest free option, and they add the interest on to show you what you will need to pay if you don't pay it all off, it pretty much doubles the cost of everything :-( I'm usually very good at Paying things off and adding extra to get it down quickly, but my heart is in my mouth all the same.

Sounds like you are having a lovely time Junior J, enjoy the rest of your holiday x

    morning all.
ive just done a food shop online. i went yesterday to asda and i struggled so much and i only bought 5 things. so thank god for online.
ive asked my boy to walk to my car after school as i struggled to get up there. it seems to sillly for me to worry but its a big thing for me as he is 9 but there are no roads to cross and he only has to walk striaght for about 2 mins. i will then meet him there. its our first time of doing this and lots of other people do it. the good thing is its a small village school and he will be walking with lots of people he knows even if there not next to him if you know what i mean. he was more than happy to do it so its probably a good thing. i mean.... next year he will be in the last year so i need to give him a bit more freedom.
ive got my tea ready to cook already so that if my back/leg gets worse than it is i can chill out later. told my employer that i will need more time off work. they were ok about it. its a pain as i dont get full pay. but with there just being the three of us i am spending less. my daughter asked for very little but you still spend it dont you.
my daughter is coming to visit us for an hour tomorrow. she wont stay long as she doesnt want to face my husband. he - quite rightly- wants answers to why she felt it ok to just go to school and not come back.
i did a bad things yesterday...i was supposed to go to slimming world and i didnt...ive left for good. ive not done it for 7 weeks and im just paying for nothing at all. im still going to try to be good if i can. my husband thinks i wont try now and i should have kept going. never mind. i feel like i want to live and enjoy my food.so what if im a bit bigger than i should be. we will prob rejoin after christmas. it only costs 10 to rejoin so ive not lost anything.
    have a lovely day everyone

I now have to buy a TD which just adds to the mountain!!! Roll on next year, im sure the right job will come along for you x

WUVVIES im not surprised you couldnt manage the shop my lovely, DS will be fine, he probably feels very grown up being able to walk down to you on his own, please dont feel guilty. • Just on quickly again to say thank you - I'd nipped to B&M on the way back from work yesterday and they indeed had packs of bells, perfect for what I need! The silver ones came with black bells too which I won't really use, but still good value considering It worked out at 6 for 1.49. (plus the black to spare!)

Oh peppapig - a taste of Christmas hamper, I like that idea! Would be perfect for my bessie n her Hubby who can never really quite get into the festive spirit (unhappy memories for both of them of events that have occured around Xmas time :( ) But I've started a snowed in hamper for them as my bessie is convinced it'll happen. Maybe next year though...

First part of Hubby's pressie came today - a double egg cup. Anyone know of anywhere selling chocolate eggs? Creme eggs? Ex-Halloween eggs? Any egg sized choccie eggs would do to go in it really. I thought you could get Creme eggs all year round now ? ;)

Tried making some of the decs from the paper set I bought at the range...whoever drew/designed the illustrative pics needs to go to Specsavers as I couldn't follow them!
