  • Ameyturtle, your soup sounds lush, lucky parents, (except for the toothache).
OMO, get her the bear, hare, book, (not seen them) she has had a rough do.
Niki, lucky rellies, double joy, does your house smell of Christmas cake? I love that smell.
Risky-b mmmm spiced orange shortbread I can taste it already,
Well, the plumber came, repaired the pipe, renewed the joint, photographed the damage to the ceiling and the floor (the water had got under the join in the vinyl and the edges have started curling up) drank his coffee and went on his way. Insurance company want 3 quotes for repair to ceiling, but reminded me that l have a £250 excess. If I go for the claim l will try to get the vinyl done too, but it is only a year or so since it was renewed because of a burst pipe under the sink, so will get quotes in this week and decide from them.
M&S delivery came, lovely reindeer(?stag?) cushion, and 4 pressies. must wrap them today.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning all,

Made some more xmas cards yesterday, will try and post a photo later this afternoon.

Ordered Hubby a am@z0n xmas gift card. Had an email saying if I ordered at least £25 of GCs I would receive £5. Bonus!

Bought a festive jumper from matalan

    http://www.matalan.co.uk/mens/brands/easy/s2537883/easy--christmas-scene-knit-jumper

They had nothing festive in the women's section. Hubby reckons he might borrow it, he can reckon again! If he's not going to buy his own, he certainly isn't borrowing mine!

Wrapping the rest of the pressies today, only have one person I am stumped on but apart from him and sticking money in a couple of cards I am kind of done. I will buy bits if I see them but if this is all I get I am sure everyone will be getting a good gift anyway.

Next weekend I plan to make a start on choc sleighs for ds class mates. And he will start writing his cards.
I also want to get a new tree, my one is fine but I want a white led one for a change this year. My usual colours are tradition red, green and gold but this year will be white, funky and multi coloured mayhem. Lol
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Oh and forget to mention, tescos have the large pork loin joints with a nice fat top half price at the mo. Picked up a 3kg joint for 12 quid, gave hubby strict instructions to leave well alone and stuck it in the freezer with 2 boxes of 20 finest range honey and mustard glazed cocktail sausages which were on reduced isle for 90p per box.

The only thing that is keeping me going this weekend is the fact that I know I won't be here next weekend.
Last night the stag feel off the unit. I think I must have unhooked it when I dusted earlier in the day. Luckily nobody was near it. One antler broke off but I've glued it back on.
Robbie still has a stinking cold and was up 3 times in the night because he couldn't breath.
DAS bought Robbie here in his big pram, so we have no room the kitchen at all. Even folded down it is massive.
    The lounge is a tip.
Dd is feeling better but is tired and wants to be left alone. But she won't go to bed, so I am trying to keep the snotty monster away from her.

I just keep saying - This time next week !!!!
