Quick cooking question: I'm thinking about making some Christmas cupcakes ahead and freeze them. I know I can do this in-iced but my question is can I freeze them in the papercases im cooking them in or will they go soggy when I defrost them? Thanks

I always freeze mine in the cases and had no problems x
  • Just ordered some rude xmas wrapping paper - daren't post a link in case anyone is easily offended :o. I received code via an email today from Hot Deal Uk for 70% off and apparently its on BOGOF.

Have nearly completed my 12 Days of Xmas wall hanging (cross stitching) today. Has been a nightmare to make up as the aida I was using was dodgy (everything was looking wonky) so have had to tweak and twist until it looks about right. Will let you all see it once its finished. I know its cross stitch but it is xmassy related :p:D

OMO - hope the reindeer can be repaired. Glad dd is on the mend. Bet you can't wait for your little trip. Hope you really enjoy it.

Mrs MP - hope you manage to sort some wool for your jumper. I keep forgetting where I'm at when I see your name pop up :rotfl:

Well going to settle down now and see the results for XFactor and Strictly. Don't like to be on laptop too much as I usually accidently find out the results before I have seen the show on tv.

    Bye for now

  • I've ordered some of the rude paper too blue_eyed_girl. I have ordered the one with Mary and Joseph trying to get Jesus to sleep. I am going to wrap my daughters bits in it. She kept me up night after night howling when she was a baby.
This year we haven't got the grannies for Christmas so I can get away with a bit more fun than usual. My Mum would see the joke but mil definitely wouldn't.

Will definitely have to be careful who's pressie we wrap in which paper this year. Will have to keep the wine out of the way when wrapping otherwise DH will use it for everyone.

Someone posted a recipe for ginger cheesecake using syrup of ginger a while back and I've spent the last hour looking for it. So if it was you, please point me to it as I have the!ingredients but now cant find the recipe. Lol
