Hello all, I've just caught up :) I hope you're all well and sorry I haven't had a chance to post much in recent days.

I have Friday booked off work, so I'm planning to use the day to grab a few more bits. Where I'm planning to go has all the good cheapy shops, so I'm hoping to find some bargains. Hopefully I'll have some good things to report! :)

Then next Monday I'm off to London with a friend (very excited!) we're going to harrods as I've never been - hoping to see their lovely Christmas section! Then we may go off to covent garden and I'm thinking maybe a little trip to Camden too if we can fit it all in. It's been a while since I've been to London now, I used to travel that way relatively often for work, so it'll be nice to go for a fun trip this time :)

Have a lovely week all! x

I'm sure Harrods Christmas department opened about 6-7 weeks ago, so have fun! The Oxford St lights are up too-although not turned on yet.
Covent garden market is always nice to wander round. Some good bargains to be had too. Camden too might be a bit much to fit in all in one day. Depends how long Harrods takes, I guess...;)
    Have a great day!

I'm hoping to visit a Christmas market with mum in December. Any recommendations? She lives in Gloucester, so drivable from there. Could even make a weekend of it if there's an amazing one further afield.

Am on holiday right now and still managed to get some Christmas presents. Bangkok just has some amazing deals, so make up brushes for sister, earing and necklace sets from ds to nan and aunty and a leather handbag for sister, all for around 50 quid. Trying to keep up with the thread too as and when I can.
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

    Hi all :)

Always read this thread but don't have much chance to post. My xmas shopping is going well.. Went to Family Bargains yesterday picked up a massive xmas colouring book for my little girl 99p and a peppa pig carry case for 1.99 (poster, crayons, stickers and height chart) lots of crafty things in their too for 99p but shes too young yet. Primark had lovely xmas jumpers for £8 for LO, couldn't resist, and packs of hair clips for £1. Got hubby a couple of small tie hangers for £1 (for two).

Been stocking up on food bits but my Lidl has never got any choc gingerbread in and their vegan mince pies haven't got a long date on!!. So will have to visit closer to xmas.

Bought mum Boots ootw Laura Ashley with boots points so pleased with that. Love reading what everyone else buys lol!!.

Waiting for Aldi to stock their mini mince pies (if they do) and black forest stollen, got their customer service number so might ring them..

    BB

Did try to ring Aldi but I had 13 people ahead of me in the q!!

I was in London last year around christmas time for a work thing & while I was there went to harrods and the christmas display so cool.
It was Disney princess theme but in designer gowns like Snow White in oscar de la renta, Cinderella in Versace.
I'd never been before and I love walking around the whole store to look in all the windows :)
