So I know it's not Christmas related but as we're all doing a lot of baking at the moment who do we think is going to or who deserves to win the great British bake off tonight - I think ruby will win but if Frances pulls off style and substance I think she could take it0

Anyone but Ruby!! That woman really annoys me with her pouting and pretending of being rubbish and always pulling it off. Think she should have gone last week. If she wins, I won't be watching it anymore....0

I haven't read all the thread so apologies if it's been mentioned - but I went to home bargains today and picked up cupcake boxes(3 in a pack, holds 4 cupcakes) for 89p. (The link is for a case of them).

I'm doing a food themed present and made a cake that's about 5 inches round that will fit it one box then in the other two I'm going to do biscuits, sweets and treats. I think I'll need to reinforce the base with a bit of cardboard to make sure it's sturdy but it's definately the cheapest I've seen for this type of box and it will look posh (well I hope so!)0 -
Can I just ask a quick question please regarding Christmas Tree lights. How many would you put on a 7ft tree? I like lots of lights but the main set I normally put on has broken and I have no idea how big a set to go for.
As you can see its a tall thin one and this his how it looked before the lights broke (This pic is from Christmas 2011). I have small multicoloured LED ones on there you can't see so would like more subtle lights this time around but I don't know what to get. Any advice anyone please?Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Nicki - for full effect I would be looking to put at least 300 led lights on that tree. Our tree is not so thin, but same size in height and it has 400 lights on it.0

Don't even think my tree lights run into treble figures so not the person to advise.
Browsing Tesco website earlier they saw they are adding new depts to their clubcard boost from next week. Really hoping toys is one of the depts. Anyone know? Do we have any 'insider' info?0
