Chrissy you crazy lady, I don't think that's a festive movie! Woo hoo just seen your signature. Amazing, well done :) How is DD? Hope she's still enjoying her new placement xxx

I know but i really like it ;) i do also like polar express but no one will watch it with me!

DD is settling into college there have been a few minor problems but heading in the right direction thankfully.

We are just waiting for the buyer to decide on a completion date and as they have been super fast and efficient so far [33 days from first viewing to contracts signed] i dont think we will be waiting for long.

Then my christmas prep will go into overdrive !

Order an item (cheapest £7) and get goody bag worth £19 with free delivery if you use the code mentioned.

I also found some of the Ever After High dolls for DD cheaper from Amazon. Couldn't find them cheaper than £35 last night.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ever-After-High-Ashlynn-Huntsman/dp/B00DH7P6WU/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1382462109&sr=8-7&keywords=ever+after+high

I also got the fluffy cream bedsocks I mentioned before £2 for 3 as I'm stocking up for DD as I won't be able to find them after winter. I bought them in B&M but Poundstretcher had them in still. They are def 'snowflake' looking as I thought they actually looked like snow if laid out ruffled up.

Thank you so much for this! I have just made a start on birthday presents for next year :D

Nana, the end is in sight for your living room! I can't wait to see photos :)

  • Hello, slurps from steaming mug of (skinny) hot chocolate, with (not skinny) marshmallows and sprinkles and double elmle*. I know, but its comfort food innit? . Chrissy, go, you, and well done, glad DD is settling on new course.
Rebelhedgehog that room is gorgeous, l wouldn't want to go out if l lived there!
Just been round to prep the bedroom for painting on Friday, all holes filled, all bumps sanded, masking tape and dust sheets in place, but can't do any more until filler is dry, so I have got some white curtains that just need ironed and will look right to complete it.
now, eat the mince pie, ....or the iced slice.....decisions eh?
    play nice, everyone xx

Nanamia- fingers crosse the room is fully completed before very long! Bet you cant wait to see it in all its glory!

Mrsinvisible- go for the iced slice- that's my advice:D

Chrissy-glad things are all moving in the right direction.

Been to Tesco this morning and seen the stags head cushions in the flesh and I think I may just have to have a couple!:rotfl: On the food front I brought the Christmas gammon so that's tucked up in the freezer (why is it that even though I have cleared the freezer out a few weeks ago that its all in a mess again and I am struggling for room??)

Feisty- hope you are feeling a little brighter in the face of all your probs xx

Got my DD at home today with a kidney infection (she is prone to these) so cant do much in the housework line in case I disturb her (that's my excuse anyway!!)

Everyone else- have a brill day and hope things are going well for you xx (that covers everything right?)

    Morning all!

Don't think I've posted on here yet this year!

Almost finished present shopping, just got to get bits that aren't yet out lol DVD/CDs etc and a present for our new puppy :)

Christmas plans on hold at the mo though as our house is in chaos. We're having our kitchen and hall floor changed (laminate to tiles) so it's absolute mayhem here! All needs to be finished by Saturday thoughts that's when we bring our puppy home :)
    Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....
