fluffysox I don't understand the not doing cards and giving the money to charity, it's just lazy.... We buy RNLI cards every year (we have boat) and some air ambulance ones this year ( was a charity grandad always gave money to if he saw someone collecting), so we do both! Charity gets the money and we get pretty cards :D lol

The thing is the charities get a tiny amount of what you pay for the cards, if you donate money instead they get all of it, less waste too. I wish I could get away with doing this really, sending cards is getting so expensive these days.

Feeling slightly happier. I have been paid for a huge order. So have just order a Skylanders started pack for DS. And sme happyland things for my youngest DD. still loads to buy, but it's a start.

My 8yr old DD likes Hollister, so try to find it cheap. No idea what size to buy her now though. She had a hoodie given to her, it the labels were cut off for some reason.

I still havnt heard back from Tesco about the job, I'm hoping no news is good news as other people have said they got an email saying no just a few hours after the interview. X

Hollister has a sale in at the moment but delivery is £10 unless you order over £75 ( which isn't that difficult with their prices, lol) I only really liked one hoodie but not paying an extra £10 for p&p. as for sizes, depends on what size your 8yr old DD is? If she's normal for her age than an S should be ok...I think. I'm normally a size 8-10 but from them always go up to M/L. These branded makes are normally on the small size, designed for stick insect thin people....

Its extra to what they would get if we didn't but chariry cards though. .. I'm not saying this is our way of giving to charity god no mum gives through her salery, we have rnli membership.
Thing is I don't believe that even half the people who say they do that do. .. its generally the lazy uninterested people who just can't be bothered writing cards n consider their purchase of a 20p cake on red nose day to be their cake, charity pot, Christmas cards, feel good donation of the year.
I was in rag society n getting people to give anything to charity is really really hard work even when your making it easy for them.
Or the I'm just cynical. ..

How on earth anyone can justify £10 delivery is beyond me. I've paid around £6 for now which has been a next day courier, but £10 - I wouldn't buy out of principal!!!

I'm looking at buying Lego Friends for DD1 and looking to see where the best offers are. ToysRUs have a free gift and Boots have 3 for 2 plus an extra 1000 points next Wednesday for their Christmas event. Anyone else seen any offers anywhere?
