Sorry must have missed a whole chunk, what yhread was that on? No one has the right to be nasty and thy're just bullies! Can't understand it, your posts are always so nice to everyone else, everyone deserves respect.:)

    Thanks,

It all happened on Christmas Day. Had a really bad one and ended up on here most of the day. Didn't want to bring this thread down on the big day, so ventured out into the MSE wilderness. Found a thread I could post on, where the other posters would understand, and managed to attract a troll.
It all got a bit out of hand and took over 2 threads. I thought it was all over, then yesterday she started again.
Fortunately loads of people from here and the threads on Xmas day remembered her and reported her.

Evening, congratulations OMO looking forward to seeing a picture x

    Hello to all newcomers :j

I've had another busy day. Got DS/DD2 room mostly packed up. Still 10 days til we move, so I need to leave stuff for them to play with. Will be easier once they are back at school.

I've ordered 2 Jellyrolls (rolled fabric strips) ready to make the quilts for dd1 and nieces Xmas. I'm looking forward to Getting my sewing machine and other crafty materials all set up in the new house. There is just no room here. I'm trying to decide what other handmade projects I can do for other pressies. I'd like to learn to crochet, or knit something other than a square. So I can make something nice for Oh's Mum. All stuff to keep me busy in the winters nights when OH is working away x

Blimey girls! I take a day off to write my essay and I end up missing 5 pages!

    So firstly:-

    to all the newcomers

Gratz to OMO on the new grandson!

and happy birthday to all those people I missed by trying to keep away from the internet for a day.

Still got lots of work to do, but I just need to get through these next couple of essays and I can confirm my uni place. I just need 3 more merit/disc and I'm a shoe in! Then I can [STRIKE]waste 3 years being a student[/STRIKE] invest in my future and get the job of my dreams.

I haven't been able to do any more of my crochet, but I have photographed a few of the roses I have had a go at making... sadly they are rubbish as my camera sucks, so I will get my Mum (a professional photographer!) to get some shots. The colours just don't look right in my pictures.

I suppose I should go to bed really, I've been staying up so late recently, I'm going to feel it on Monday when I have to get up at 5.30!

    Hi everyone

Sorry, done it again, thought it was still today, just realised it's tomorrow!

    So, better late than never:-

Welcome to TrendyJenny, greentiger and bhatti !

Happy ( belated! ) Birthday to black cat - hope you had a great day and your OH makes a good recovery.

Well done to picnmix for stopping smoking, keep it up!

freespirit66 - I always feel a migraine is a waste of a day too! But there is nothing you can do till the pain goes, and fretting over what you "should" be doing, doesn't help. Sending healing hugs, it is the worst pain ever, hope you feel better soon x

Goodnight everyone, see you tomorrow ( later today! ) xxx

ETA - OMO, are you going to be a nanna, a granny or a grandma?

Well done all our non smoking lovelies :) each day gets a bit easier. You'll get to the point when you might crave a cig for a few seconds then it passes! Still happening to me and I stopped 17th Feb 2004. On the plus side my living room is furnished completely on my saving. In 2006 we got all new matching furniture and new sofa with what I would've spent on smoking. That was a good feeling :) xxx
Pinknfluffy well done you and your DH bless him for being so supportive. Good luck with the childminding or whatever else you might fancy:)
Thanks for the compliments on the trees, think I will improve the more I make. DD couldn't believe the lollipop tree or the number of lollies it contained DGD will be eating lollys for months (they are her fav treat).
That made me chuckle freespirit (photobucket name is what DS and DD friends call me:) xxx
I have wonderful news re my very DSiL, today's visit we chatter for an hour :) normal conversation not the gobble de gook/staring straight through you we've had for almost seven weeks. Thinks have really started to improve hugely, psych team and care coordinator etc. it's unbelievable the difference in her. She is already responding to the different antibiotics for her pneumonia :) After all this time I'm scared to say it but she really does seem to be on the mend. She even repeated some of our conversation later when one of my DN visited this evening. :) I'm so grateful to you all for all your support. Thank you all so so very much xxx

Linky I was thinking the same as Linda-Lou which do you prefer? Will you be Nana Linky? Hope you catch up on some sleep tonight xxx

To our newbies and delurkers hello :hello: we are very pleased to see you :) You could never feel lonely on here with all of us. We've helped each other through some very tough times over the last few months. I for one wouldn't like to think where I'd be without my 'family' xxx
