Morning everyone :) it's been pouring with rain all morning here, so I have decided I will stay in this morning instead of shopping and maybe only pop round our own town's shops later.

Got a few bits for my parents yesterday in M+S 3 for 2. A set of mini aftershaves for my dad, along with another set which has two larger bottles and matching shower gels.

For my mum I picked up a day/night cream & serum set, Royal Jelly hand cream set and two mini perfumes. I also got my mum another nail polish which was in the clearance down to £2 and a hand cream which was down to £1.

I also got my mum a pretty notebook with flowers on from the p*perchase sale. Things are really building up present-wise now and I'm so pleased! Thank you all for encouraging me to get things sorted earlier this year, I'm sure this is the most organised I have ever been :)

Hi does anyone know when asda/tesco put their first Xmas stuff and mas pjs out? Thanks
Wishing everyone the best of luck for 2020 ☘️
  • Here we are on the 'leap year' page already! Went to the range yesterday with DD a lovely afternoon, but although everything was very reasonably priced, the only thing l bought was a garland for th fireplace, at £9.99 and it will need filled out with other stuff. We went to Sainsb*ries too for something to eat, and l bought 2 jumpers in their sale, which are nice. l have lost so much weight since june that nothing fits, and l hate buying clothes, but l've taken everything in as far as l can, so needs must.
I'm telling lies, I also bought a fleecy throw in the range warm and snuggly so no heating on last night.
Fave cous is on her way round she wants to go to M&S and my discount card comes in for meltdown, we will go as soon as skyped. More coffee? half price in the coop, douwe Egbert if that's any use?
  • Did a bit of ebay shopping this morning found the works as a seller on there which is free delivery.. so got some xmas craft goodies oh its 15% off every 3 items too.

Also got dd4 the little mermaid disney doll from toys r us at half price for her bday cake in a few weeks.

My todo list this week is to finish off my new nephew/nieces bespoke giraffe hoodie (which i made it a lil less complex now lol) oh and make some elf sized santa hats and beards for a dress up activity too.

They have already started putting things out. More stuff after Halloween. Theg still have Summer sale stock in my local tesco too. I bought some lightweight pjs on sale to give as gifts. Some lovely gift sets. I loved a Babycham one, not sure who I'd give it to tho. Also bought a couple of gorgeous hats for DS.:D

Spent time in a bubble bath reading the tesco gift guide last night :)

  • I couldnt see anything out in asda this week. Mind I was a bit blind...

Kids were up too early. Despite this I havent done much. Ive done the meal plan and half the shopping list. Updated pressie app and done a bit of net surfing for pricing.

Plans are a bit of swagbucks and some ironing.

Its free listing on ebay so want to put my pushchair on to buy the girls a wii for christmas from ebay. Hope I get enough for it.

To make a change apart from toys house is very clean due to buyers visit yesterday so that's something to not worry about.

    Tasks for this week:

    Clean fridge out.
    Look for offers on schloer.
    Paperwork sorr n shred.

Umm. Not much of that us christmassy. Oh well

    SQUEEEE .... another day closer!

OH and I spent yesterday putting up pics.. I've lived here 8 years and they are just crawling out of their boxes *SHAMEFACE*

Anyway.. today is being spent putting up more pics and this evening I want to get a knitted Christmas gift started. I really wanted to give homemade gifts this year so I have my eye on a few idea for the girls to do for grannies.. I thought some toddler painted votive candle holders would be cute with a couple of smelly candles (OH is getting a candle making kit so next year he will be making candles for them!.. but this year Yankee types will do) I started a scark and handwarmers for my sister a few years back so I'll complete the scarf and maybe give her those. I want to do a knitted reindeer for my mother and next year may do a matching Santa. I'd LOVE to do loads of tree ornaments but that might have to be for next year, though I have considered pompom tree decs.

I want a pattern for a chunky knitted hat in wee willy winky style... for my daughter so adult size.. I tried ravelry but couldn't find a suitable one so I may just adapt my own pattern again.

I don't see what is Christmassy about stags.. we go for reindeer (yes I know they are the same in principle but stags do not have red noses!) and snowmen. My daughter is getting the new look Christmas jumper with the sequin tree on from my mother.. another one sorted.. :D

You can tell us any Tesco deals you know about. We won't hold it against you. :D
I'm waiting for the selection box offers. ;)

Just order 2 sets of magnetic scrabble letters from the site I linked earlier. I have been looking for them for ages, so am very happy.
