I did my tasks for last week, not only harvested the apples but made 7 jars of crab apple jelly out of it.
I have been dumping all carrier bags with various foods, craft items and presents in my daughters room, whilst she is at uni, but she is coming back for a weekend, next week, so that needs sorting.
this week -
sort out all the stuff already bought
prepare 2 things for freezer
go over the food list again0 -
Ooh have just checked back and I did 2 out of my 3 things on the task list last week! Go me!0

We went on a guided walk at Ashridge (National Trust estate), specifically to see their fallow deer and the rut. They took us to a particular spot where they apparently always congregate to rut every morning but of course sods law meant that today they were feeling shy and stayed away! Typical!
We did see quite a few deer from a distance but unfortunately not as many as expected and no rutting to be seen/heard at all. I'm sure they were watching us from really closeby, hiding behind the trees, just waiting for us to leave before they all sprung into action. They're probably still laughing at us silly camera-laden humans right now!
Richmond Park is a brilliant place to see deer though. Hopefully you'll catch them next time.
That makes me fee much better, especially as I had poodled over there without a shower, glad to know that it wasn't smell related:DA smile costs little but creates much0 -

'Holidays are coming' Coke t shirt. Would love to get this for my best friend, but it's out of my price range. Unless our lotto numbers came up tonight. If so, I'll treat all of you too!
Oooh, that is my mums favourite ad, may just have to buy her the tshirt!:jA smile costs little but creates much0 -
sorry I haven't been around much...my GUAG has well and truly got up and gone. I am exhausted and irritable PMT without the M...although I think the M probably stands for something different now:D
not done much Chrismassy but I have got our Christmas eve DVD, I have ordered Arthur Christmas.
I got an Xbox free with my phone contract so that will be a joint present for the boys. We have been given some games and I think I will give them some money to buy a game each as I can't decide what to get them. I would also like to get them a few small bits too, I have a book each for them and may do a small hamper each, although have no ideas for that yet. Possibly a tango one for ds2. ds1 is very into computers and computer programming, does anyone have any ideas of what I could put in a small hamper?
I have ordered the lord of the rings bluray for DH and we have set a budget of £20 so will look for a few small things.
I love all the new look Christmas clothes and the hoodie is fab!
I have to go to primark soon as DH bought me a onesie from there and it is FAR too big! I ended up with a girls' age 13 one in the end! I will have a look at the jumpers/T shirts/fleev]ces etc when I go.
DH had three days work last week:j and these days look like they will be at least till Christmas:j He has a meeting about his training on Tuesday so things will look a lot clearer then.
ds2 has gone camping with the scouts this week end. It is cold and wet but he will have a fantastic time. there are 1200 scouts there and loads of activities for them to do. I can see lots of washing when he gets back as everything will be covered on mud.
A huge thank you to everyone for all your links, ideas, etc:Tsaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

I haven’t unwrapped the Nora Roberts books yet as have a massive amount of books to get through. I really like ‘Calling Mrs Christmas’ by Carole Matthews but it is still quite expensive, don’t think there are any good deals on it at the moment.
Ruth_honey – thanks for mentioning the gingerbread latte. I love them.
Tried to order a coat for OH’s dad yesterday in Debenhams sale. Was perfect and right size but just as I clicked on it, it typically went out of stock. It was a Maine New England one and now I can’t find any that are at a ‘good’ price anywhere else.
The house is a mess because our dishwasher broke and trying to remember how to manually wash our dishes seems to have been erased from our minds. Keep doing it but keeps topping up again. The dishwasher has made us lazy!0 -
BORED !!!!!!!!!
Really want to get back into the loft for another look, but I am alone here with Robbie. He is asleep in the lounge, and I will never hear him from up there if he wakes. So I am stuck downstairs. :mad:0 -
