    Xmas Saver!
Am crying with laughter. Ds wants to play his play station downstairs, so I told him to put it on the fire, as it marked the sideboard last time he put it on there. On the fire is a Buddha.

    Ds says to me
' Is it Ok to move it ? Won't the Budapest people get cross if I put their God on the floor ? ' :rotfl:

Haven't done anything really festive in the last few days but am watching 'Snowglobe' on Movies 24 at the mo (recorded it earlier today). The actual film isn't all that but I like the scenes when she's inside the snowglobe. I'd really like a proper snowglobe but only ever really see Disney ones and I'm not a big Disney fan. Anyone seen any others that are a decent size and not too tacky?
Have you tried Past Times? They usually have some nice ones. Watching Love Actually on Movies 24 atm :)

Went to HB today. Picked up an Annoying Orange annual for £2.99. Unfortunately DS has spotted it already! It's being moved though, he can't have it early. There were some Monster High Dolls with a halloween theme to them I think and they were around £3-£4. DD isn't into them though, she's recently discovered on the net 'Ever after High' and their dolls don't come cheap! Not getting them, already gave in over the furby. Wish she'd be into something the year after somethings popular. She adored moshi monsters last year, I saw them today in 5 packs for 1.99 in HB, last year I was paying a fiver for them. Grrrrrrr.

    This one.... :D

New diary bought and updated with birthdays etc.. I have a life next year.. WOOT!!!

More Christmas stuff arrived today.. I am now saving pennies and paying off the credit card to allow for the Amazon black Friday week of reduced stuff.. I picked up loads of stuff last year from little stocking fillers to family gifts to large garden stuff for the childrens birthdays through the summer.. Wonder what I can snap up this year! (small family children will be 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 5 next year so I have a few I can buy for)

I am now going to update my list of who I have what for and remind myself again to stop buying stuff for the 3 littlies and the grandboys!

Is this the kind of thing you're after? http://www.pinkclove.co.uk/dresses-c2/ballerina-wrap-bust-dress-p121
It's a plus size store, though, so apologies if you love the dress but they don't do it in your size. I've actually ordered it myself so I'll let you know if it's nice in 'real life'.
There's a short sleeve green lace skater dress on new look. Maybe with a shrug? Or a 3/4 sleeve one... http://www.newlook.com/shop/result?Ntt=Green+skater+dress&filtered=1

A bit obsessed with wanting a new dress at the moment. ASOS is worth a look too.

Thanks for the book link, cherry24. I might well treat myself. Not read any of her books before.

I liked that hoodie too, Pixtotts. And the robin one, but they don't do those in the Inspire range. Probably just as well. I already want loads from that site.

The gingerbread latte is on offer in sainsbury until 22/10. Had another one earlier and they are very scummy. Found a recipe on here last night for gingerbread coffee syrup, so might try making that. Would be cheaper than buying boxes of Nescaf! all winter! ;)
