So I'm reading a book about the drug free way of curing arthrititis and it is looking like I am going to have to be a grown up and change my diet completely so more fruits and veg, now the problem lies in the fact that I don't like the texture of most fruits and veg, so for me it'll have to be soups and sauces and things, but will I get enough nutrients from them?
I've got 2 days off so today is shopping, and paperwork. You know when you have piles of the stuff everywhere well thats what my house is like and it just needs sorting out. Might pop back to asda to get my chocs at £4 each I know morrisons is cheaper but our nearest is about half hour away by car so asda might be better.
Love and hugs to all xx0 -
Curious as to what you think might be the "better gift".
A bottle of One Million fragrance [his favourite scent, which I know he has run out of].... Or, some sort of pamper hamper?
He didn't used to be a fan of baths, but I've managed to convert him lol and he adores a couple of the bathbombs from Lush. So, I was thinking I could get a couple of different bathbombs, a new flannel, maybe one of those bath pillows. He also has a standard rubber duck [an in-joke] which he likes, and I've seen some that are modified [eg, like a rocker duck, an army duck etc], so I'd maybe throw one of those in too. It is still an idea in the very initial stages of being thought up, but what do you think so far?
I like the idea that the hamper would be a lot more personal than a 50ml bottle of perfume. Plus, the cheapest I've seen the 50ml sized bottle at the moment is £35 - I reckon I could put together a decent sized hamper for that much.0 -
Hi All
Flying visit as at work, and need to catch up (again)
My local Poundworld have xmas air fresheners (Santa, Snowman and Reindeer)
(In my local store they were with the air fresheners not the xmas stuff)
Very cute. I have bought two snowmen, (1 ready for toilet windowsill and 1 ready for bathroom windowsill just to "xmas" them up a bit.
Will come back and catch up later
xxxAims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.0
