It makes the £40 sound quite reasonable.

A bottle of One Million fragrance [his favourite scent, which I know he has run out of].... Or, some sort of pamper hamper?
He didn't used to be a fan of baths, but I've managed to convert him lol and he adores a couple of the bathbombs from Lush. So, I was thinking I could get a couple of different bathbombs, a new flannel, maybe one of those bath pillows. He also has a standard rubber duck [an in-joke] which he likes, and I've seen some that are modified [eg, like a rocker duck, an army duck etc], so I'd maybe throw one of those in too. It is still an idea in the very initial stages of being thought up, but what do you think so far?
I like the idea that the hamper would be a lot more personal than a 50ml bottle of perfume. Plus, the cheapest I've seen the 50ml sized bottle at the moment is £35 - I reckon I could put together a decent sized hamper for that much.
always love the idea of a hamper as it is so personal as you say and shows so much care and thought - I love the idea of the rubber ducks too!they have light up ones in Hawkins Bazaar, I think they are Disco Ducks? you tap them and they flash! :rotfl:

Oh I HAVE to have an M&S musical tin that plays Jingle Bells!!!! I have the Deck The Halls one from last year which is lovely

My oldest boy is easy the middle one not so easy but I manage.. I got him a 3ds in the jan sales for next to nothing by normal prices 70% off. But my youngest boy is awful to buy for.. the only thing he seems to do is sit and play on his lappy!! If I thought he'd complete it I would get him an online course doing website building or CAD or something useful.. actually that is a fab idea for DS2... I'll write it down before I forget.
