Ameyturtle - The best way to get nutrients from fruit n veg is raw... though most would turn their nose up at raw veg I had a bag of carrot sticks for lunch so not me obviously... next best for veg is al dente, ( the only way I eat most veg because my mum over cooks everything and mush I;m not a fan of! lol), so I wouldnt have thought it would make tooo much difference if you were to turn it into soup with crispy ish veg especially if you like a fine soup so very blitzed veg. Just keep trying, I'm a bit experimental in the kitchen sometimes I find myself eating soup which looks like mud but tastes ok, other times it looks ok but tastes like mud... :/ lol weirdly mint sauce, balsamic vinegar, or Worcester sauce seems to be the best way to rescue mud soup.. Good luck!
Aliaslotte I definitely thing that the hamper sounds better, much more personal I love wrapping up things like that, I may or may not tend to wrap everything individually with way too much selotape so they cant get into it 0:) ....
And definitely get a rubber duck! Those ducks are ace...

right.. what reason can I make up to force OH to take me to B&Q to but ALL their Christmas display???
We went to B&Q on Sunday, buying plants. I had hoped to entertain DS (and myself) with Christmas displays but there was nothing out yet. So perhaps ring and check before you have a wasted journey.

I got my mother some M&S shortbread last year.. she fed it to the dogs it was so disgusting.. she accused me of trying to kill her!

Best place for stocking fillers?? I have made a decision to buy 3 small items each for child #3-11 ages 5 months to almost 18 and I want to do them all in one shopping trip.. where should I look? Preferably online.. Hawkins bizarre is my fave place but we seem to have it all now..

14y/o male geeky type.. main present.. what do we think? (He has 3DS, laptop, not interested in a phone, not bothered about clothes/shoes etc, sweets are out as he is diabetic) I am completely at a loss..

Still needing a Lush shop and a Thorntons shop.. I usually get each child a character thing with their name on.

Have Lush got their Christmas stuff out yet?
For your 14 year old ideas: Kindle, digital camera, DVDs, vouchers for cinema or a theme park, a bike?

Why do some people have to be so difficult to buy for? I swear, if I can't think of anything they're all getting bath salts!
