Ameyturtle - The best way to get nutrients from fruit n veg is raw... though most would turn their nose up at raw veg I had a bag of carrot sticks for lunch so not me obviously... next best for veg is al dente, ( the only way I eat most veg because my mum over cooks everything and mush I;m not a fan of! lol), so I wouldnt have thought it would make tooo much difference if you were to turn it into soup with crispy ish veg especially if you like a fine soup so very blitzed veg. Just keep trying, I'm a bit experimental in the kitchen sometimes I find myself eating soup which looks like mud but tastes ok, other times it looks ok but tastes like mud...
lol weirdly mint sauce, balsamic vinegar, or Worcester sauce seems to be the best way to rescue mud soup.. Good luck!
Aliaslotte I definitely thing that the hamper sounds better, much more personal I love wrapping up things like that, I may or may not tend to wrap everything individually with way too much selotape so they cant get into it 0:) ....
And definitely get a rubber duck! Those ducks are ace...

Best place for stocking fillers?? I have made a decision to buy 3 small items each for child #3-11 ages 5 months to almost 18 and I want to do them all in one shopping trip.. where should I look? Preferably online.. Hawkins bizarre is my fave place but we seem to have it all now..
14y/o male geeky type.. main present.. what do we think? (He has 3DS, laptop, not interested in a phone, not bothered about clothes/shoes etc, sweets are out as he is diabetic) I am completely at a loss..
Still needing a Lush shop and a Thorntons shop.. I usually get each child a character thing with their name on.
Have Lush got their Christmas stuff out yet?
