Will probably use for Boxing Day when its all more fun and relaxed. Got Nordic paperchains too so got them for the kids to help me do, thought I could hang them round kitchen cupboards in new place....
....speaking of which. Have just been into estate agent. Right, mid chain is ready, top chain is still doing searches etc but they are cash buyers so it won't take long. Our buyers who came in late are coming for a look round again on Saturday (ARGH gotta clean like the clappers). Est ag already said its nothing to worry about, she just needs to buy some bits and wants to measure. The upshot of all this is that there is 5 in the chain and 1, 3, 5 have same solicitor so it should shifty now. And we hopefully should be signing contracts by late October, another couple of weeks anyway. Tentative moving idea of 2nd week in November....
Am keeping everything I have crossed!
Off to work at the second job tonight. Phew. Have just hit swagbucks target so don't have to worry about rushing home tonight to do that.
Hugs to all and everyone, welcome to Newbs x

Choccymoose, that's the sort of thing I do. lol. Well, yesterdays little shopping expedition went into freefall and l am hanging my head in shame, ..... I managed to resist the sweeties in mr Ms but called in to @ldi, then saw a sign in a shop window of a well known bed shop, 60% off clearance, so I went in, it became 80% while l was looking, so l thought it would be rude not to buy .......a bedroom suite! Seriously, tho, it is just what l have been looking for but couldn't afford, but at 20% of the original price, l didn't resist too hard.
My name is because l feel invisible when l go shopping or out for a meal, no one sees me, or tries to serve me, so after being seriously hacked off being ignored at a bar counter (buying breakfast) l said loudly, 'am l invisible, or what?' and the assistant looked right past me and said 'who said that' and we both laughed, now whenever l go there she greets me with 'mrs invisible, nice to see you'.0 -

In other news, as much as I love Christmas, my OH just called me Scrooge because I don't like Christmas cake, Christmas pudding and am only just coming around to the idea of mince pies! Anyone else have this embarrassing affliction?
I hate (and I mean hate) Xmas cakes, puddings & mince pies. Yuck the whole lot of them.
Loved reading the reasons behind people's names. Mine isn't that exciting and quite obvious: I like crafting and I am a mummy
When OH saw it the first time he thought I'd meant crafty as in clever and sly, lol.
Christmas is slowly coming on, still looking for ideas of what I want to make for people. Had friend around today to try to decide but she wasn't too enthusiastic either so we just ended up chatting about all sorts...oh well, have decided to get together next week and get on with stuff. We made lots of stuff together last Xmas and really enjoyed it.
Had letter from DDs school - they're on strike next Thursday! Already had 2 of my friends asking if I could have their DDs too....joy of working from home and being flexibleI don't mind having the girls, they occupy themselves nicely, just gotta make sure I've enough food in the house, lol.

Hi Bought a few things today. Thank you I think it was OMO who said about the 2 for £7 at Mr M's so I got 4 today. I bought 3 sock monkey toys for dogs from Pets at Home and a gingerbread man throw from Dunelm for my Mum. She is in a home so I just get her clothes and bits and pieces-so sad breaks my heart. We used to love Christmas and I keep seeing things that she would have loved but are no use to her now or would go missing as the other client's just wander in and take things. She does this as well to others so can not complain. Hugs to anyone else that has a Mum, Dad or OH with Dementia or illness.Sealed Pot Challenge 1441

I may have found my special place on the world.. I have a medical disorder regarding Christmas, apparently it means I am certifiable.. I just believe I am part elf and the need to squeal about Christmas throughout the year is vital.. Christmas day, beyond the children opening their gifts doesn't really excite me but I LOVE buying gifts for others.. I start about 18 months in advance.. though Squeak (3) is getting stuff I bought in the ELC sale when she was just a few months old.
I hate Christmas cake and pudding and mince pies too.. I loathe dried fruit, it is sickable!
So far I have sorted OH, 3 grandsons, main presents for DS2, DD3, DD4, DD5, and DDs 6 and 7 are completely done. I want 1 item for the baby and she is done. I need a main gift for DS3 (14) and have not got the vaguest idea what to get.. ideas VERY welcome. Some boots for DD2 and a smaller 2nd gift for OH.. and accessories which my mother is buying.
I then do my mothers shopping.. Me, OH, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and both DS1's and DD1's OHs.. I started at the bottom this year and have done 3 GGC and 4 of the GC.
This year I seem to be giving MIL ideas too.. I have sorted Me (Joe Browns voucher if I am lucky!) OH (cash.. he want specific personal item he needs to choose himself) and 2 of our 3 girls.
Usernames.. it was originally Loobyloo but then I had Pigpie because I like pork pie and the usual username had gone... and Pigpen is now my name on everything (including WoW) and is nothing to do with Charlie Brown but at the time we were living 10 of us in a 3 bed house and it was a pit, no room for anything.. it was a total pig sty... hence pigpen.. we have since moved and it is MUCH less cluttered though still not perfect.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
