my dd2's bday is boxing day and she hardly ever has a cake... she prefers trifle or fancy cheesecake.. this year shes already requested fish and chips for dinner but i don't think any of the takeaways are open lol
I discovered i've got enough tescos points to get two of their hudl's which will be dd1 and dd3's main xmas pressie which is fab! dd2 is slightly more difficult. she loves clothes so maybe £100 worth of newlook vouchers?
Found brandy snaps in iceland yesterday and orange and lemon slices!! couldn't find brandy snaps last year anywhere! oh or cheese balls (crisps) saw those in those in tescos last night but will get them next time im in once i've sorted out a cupboard in the kitchen lol
Time is flying buy, money i had set aside got used up elsewhere ahhh lol i'm nearly over my chest infection just got the annoying sticky cough left.. unfortunatly dd4 is now unwell ahh does it ever end! rushed her to dr's on monday with a temp (turned out it was 102.5 eek) thought it was a reaction to the flu vaccine but dr thinks shes got tonsilitus. which is really weird as shes not mentioned a sore throat at all, just headache and belly ache bless her. so a week on penicillin and painkillers for her. Temp is down a bit now though.
I'm itching to sort out the xmas cupboards but can't with her home
mojoworking! i can't wait to wear mine.. the xmas gloves could be our secret identifiers teehee go get a bah humbug hat for your dhTotally debt free wohooo 2014

welcome t the new christmasaholics
have put choccy tins on my list for saturday - hoping the offer is still on then.
heres a lush memory for you Amey, i bet its not still made anymore but ive still got the little terracotta pot that my purr-fume came in the one with the little black cat stencilled on, it still smells faintly of it, i was a cos to go addict and still have t shirts and stuff knocking about.
i adored raspamataz soap and almost cried when i found out that was discontinued, i took my last bar into hospital when i had DD3 so i had the happiest memory of using it (shes 22 now so it was a while ago)
:xmastree:announcement:xmastree:
today i am going to bake my christmas cake, there now ive said it it will have to be done.

pssh mono tell him to man up and deal with it causes you're doing, it's not like you are making him wear them!
I went through something similar I have pink fluffy earmuffs and for years everyone was like you're not wearing them if your going out with me and I told em all to deal with it and now I'm known as the girl with the earmuffs in my village. Even omo has seen my earmuffs :rotfl:
2 days off tomorrow would like to pop to a Morrison's for the chocs, think my nearest one is witham so will have to see how mum's hands are. Ordered my wax advent last night!! So excited xxx0 -
Definitely got to get this radfleck done they are forecasting bad weather for this weekend:eek:

hope it holds off till after friday my youngest is going with his school for a sponsored walk in Edale, they are doing the 'spine' of the peaks.
he did it last year but a slightly different route on the wettest windiest day of the year it was horrendous they all came back soaked to the skin and looking frozen. Sign of how tough they are that they nearly all signed back up for it this year :rotfl: funnily enough in my role as school governor ive never felt the need to accompany them on that particular trip.
they used to do it in summer when my girls were there and one year the walk fell on DD3s birthday so i bought a cake and one of the team secretly carried it in their rucksack till they had the break at the top and they got it out and all sang to her then ate cake. I love that school.SPC~12 ot 124

At work, so quick visit, and will catchup later...
My local Poundworld have these in
http://www.lakeland.co.uk/42492/Whitakers-Mint-Cremes
Seen these for sale in nice garden centres for more than this.
Its quite a small box but definately look like they cost more than a £1 and ideal for hampers/stocking fillers.
xxAims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.0 -
Nanamia - no I'm not doing the weekly tasks, I don't actually have all that much to do. I've got a list and I now know what nearly everyone is getting, just have to get them. All I've got left is I can't think of anything for an elderly man, a 20-something man and a 50-something lady!
Have Primark got men's onesies in again, anyone whose been lately? If so what designs are they?0 -
Afternoon elves, forgot to mention matalan were putting there christmas stuff out when I popped in yesturday afternoon looked like some really nice stuff and alot of it was 3 for 2 like boots.
Argos have got furby party rockers as deal of the week for £9.99 (half price) does anybody know much about furbys and if these are any good. Have reserved for dd's aged 4 and 6 as really struggling with what to get them this yr:D0 -
Bum, still no tinsel in a tangle mugs in Poundland. Anyway zipped in there on way to work and picked up 2 xmas tablecloths with Nordic pattern on and napkins to match. Will probably use for Boxing Day when its all more fun and relaxed. Got Nordic paperchains too so got them for the kids to help me do, thought I could hang them round kitchen cupboards in new place....
....speaking of which. Have just been into estate agent. Right, mid chain is ready, top chain is still doing searches etc but they are cash buyers so it won't take long. Our buyers who came in late are coming for a look round again on Saturday (ARGH gotta clean like the clappers). Est ag already said its nothing to worry about, she just needs to buy some bits and wants to measure. The upshot of all this is that there is 5 in the chain and 1, 3, 5 have same solicitor so it should shifty now. And we hopefully should be signing contracts by late October, another couple of weeks anyway. Tentative moving idea of 2nd week in November....
Am keeping everything I have crossed!
Off to work at the second job tonight. Phew. Have just hit swagbucks target so don't have to worry about rushing home tonight to do that.
Hugs to all and everyone, welcome to Newbs x0
