I kno I kno you must be sick of me by now but just a quick update on my living room.

It's just blooming amazing. After my down time at the weekend I managed to complete all the painting etc on Monday. Weirdly those children of mine can sense when I'm not right! Even from 12000 miles away. DS face timed and chatted for two hours whilst I rollered away ha he just said you carry on Mum while I'm here :) bless him so I got loads done then stopped to make a coffee when he'd gone only for DD to arrive and make tea whilst I finished off :) Not sure if DS had rang DD or they collaborated but it was a huge help :) And lifted my mood :)
Then Wednesday morning my band of merry helpers arrived, we really are so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people. The laminate was soon fitted :) I can't believe what a difference it's made. I'm so pleased. This morning they finished putting on the new skirting board too (except for a tricky bit!) We are still living in our bed room, not put the room back together DH wants to wait till it's all done! I've chosen some different wallpaper which I love, it'll arrive middle of next week, blinds being filtered on Thursday woo hooo it's all coming together. One of my dear neighbours keeps texting to say she's seen cushions or curtains etc, its like a proper community project haha. Will take a few photos tomorrow and post them.
Thanks for all your beautiful words and kind wishes I appreciate them more than you'll ever know xxx

    Morning day 5 of 7

I am feeling a bit wiped! The Christmas reveal went well yesterday despite the fact that I got up with a migraine, and was sick before work. It was a long and mental day. I didn't finish til 10.30 last night and I've got a 1-2 bar shift today and a slight headache forming. Need some coffee!!

So now that the Christmas stuff is out I can answer anything you like :)

    Hope we are all well

    Love and hugs to all

Ordered a few more bits off the studio account l;ast night, mostly christmas storage, like a new christmas tree bag, the zip broke on ours, some new baubles & a wrapping paper holder & a seperate oganiser.

Not sure how but it ended up being 70 quids worth but can be paid off in installments if things get tight!

I nearly ordered that myself linz4383 but I have a reclining santa that the tree base sits in so thought it might be too much with the train too.

Who else is lusting over the new Christmas section of the Lush website this morning? :D
  • Got my studio catalogue through the post yesterday. Been amusing myself with a look through. Some of the Christmas stuff is gorgeous. Especially the seasonal bedding. I will restrain myself lol. Woke up this morning with a lovely bruise on my jaw lol.

    Junior_J glad your home.
    Hugs to everyone.
