    LalaGomay that hall is amazing!

nanamia your cakes are just amazing as the hal.l! xxxx

Ameyturtle .... so I needed another obsession like a hole in the head and then I found Lush! went into the New Street branch in Birmin ham to day (fantastic girl, I think she was called Adela, really helped me loads to choose what I wanted) the stuff is amazing! I ended up buying Big Blue something bathbomb for DD, two of the pink and white cone things that smell incredible and turn your bath pink? a melting snowman and one other that Ive forgotten, also the Rose Jam bath melty thing, the smell of everything is just fabulous, must be a dream to work there! am so sorry to hear about your migraine and feeling so poorly, hope you are ok xxx

Yankee Candle Alert will post link later, but on Amazon there is a Yankee seller, called Yankee Store, they have the Christmas Cupcake medium jar (the 16.99 one) for 8.49, also Winter Wonderland (my favourite) same size and price, also a Vanilla Cupcake tumler (the 9.95 one) for 7.49 - even better the p+p is 99p and you only get charged in once! one of the best deals ive seen - just type Winter Wonderland medium tumbler into Amazon search and then look at the sellers page, great feedback and great price for those wanting Christmas jars - cheapest p+p on the net and they have other jars as well as those two.

Productive day shopping - got Jelly Belly Toasted Marshmallow from Selfridges, got all sizes of Christmas shopper gift bags from Disney Store (they are amazing this year!) - my bits from Lush, and I got the Owl throw, owl hand warmer and couple of sets of fairisle/reindeer red and white slipper socks which are so cosy I may keep them - in Primarni :-))

As I got off the train in B'ham my colleague called me to ask if I wanted to go over for a coffee (thinking I was at home) which was very sweet of her, I feel guilty knowing the manager will be speaking to her - I know I was right to do that but I cant help feeling a bit sort of back-stabby, which is something I hate :(

Have only caught up with this page so will read back in a bit, DD's BF is here, seems like a lovely lad but this is all new to me so am trying to give them some privacy (living room I hasten to add) but DH is on the PS3 in there so leaving them all to it!

    Xmas Saver!
:rotfl: I think I went a bit OTT on the wreath. Not sure if I have a wall big enough to hang it on.

Thank you! Means a lot :)

I hope everyone is doing well! Been quite a busy week for me but it means it has passed quickly so I can get to the exciting bit of the week...the weekend! And Christmas shopping!

I think I'll head to the shops tomorrow afternoon (dreading how busy it'll be though! It was horrible last time!), not too sure what to get yet but I'm about to take a look at my spreadsheet to see where I'm at and what is now needed.

Shall read back and catch up after my much needed dinner!

Ameyturtle-is there a bun in the oven? ;o)

Linz! Love the tree rain thing. Know exactly what you mean about being something you saw in films-reminds me of kiddy Xmas!

Picnmix how old is your little girl? So sorry to hear this!

Nana is-cakes look amazing!! I do make really tasty cakes, but they always look awful as I'm dreadful at ANY sort of icing/decorating!

Not really Xmas related, but sainsburys have some cracking offers on kitchen stuff at the moment. I picked up a plain white 12 piece dinner set for £9 from £30 and two large serving spoons for £1.50. Lots of roasting dishes and other bits really cheap too. We're forever breaking plates with the kids around, ad thought it'd be nice to have a matching set for Xmas dinner x

Yes it is. It only cost £2.50. I am going to tie some ribbon on it. I've just got to let it dry properly first.
Unfortunately it wouldn't last one night outside where I live.
I might hang it over the French doors in the lounge. They don't get opened that over the winter.

Just having a look at the bedding on the Studio website. They have some lovely Christmas duvet sets-not just single ones for kids, but double and kings size too. Love both the snowflake ones! They also have a stag set and a fun sweetie one. Oh and a camper van one which was nice. Ideas for hampers for those with a larger budget/family to buy for???
