Has anyone seen any lights similar to those dangling in that gorgeous pic please I dont think I have ever seen lights that long to buy before ??

I think they are normal icicle lights that aren't put up tight. They are put up like UUUUUU. Does that make sense ?

Freespirit thought there must be something up :( I imagine its the stress of the last few weeks catching up, I had a day in bed yesterday (mostly) thought it was going to be worse than it was thankfully! Just needed a catch up I think. Well we will be ready for some answers about your migraine meds at your next appointment ! How are the new pain killers working?
DS and DD have a weird sixth sense, since being little and it's a two way thing so has come in very very useful :) Take today I'd finished the cake, txt photos to DS and DD as they like to see the finished product. DS I'd txt to his iPad which was at home and within two minutes I got a text from him asking for my photobucket details as he was telling his mate about my cakes. He wasn't home and hadn't seen the iPad photo. Weird I'm texting him about a cake whilst he's talking to his mate about them :)
There has been very little done in the living room today, catch up day there too, tools put back where they lived etc. Sunday the joiner is coming to fit the doors, dear neighbour is coming to replace light fittings, sockets etc. next week (middle I think) wall paper will arrive and blinds will be fitted. Then can have a proper look for curtains, rug and cushions (one I've a sample of the paper so get the right green) Its all coming together :) I'm such a lucky girl xxx
Quite a relaxing weekend planned we've a home game tomorrow (football) will wrap up and shout for 90 mins, always makes me feel better:) Hoping to spend some time chatting with DD, DGD2 and DH delightful xxx

Nanamia I really glad your lounge is getting there :D
Freespirit I also have IBS and you have my sympathy. It is such a misunderstood condition. So many people I know just don't get how it can affect you. xx

Linky our posts must have crossed this afternoon. Wow you have been busy again, really don't know how you manage to fit it all in. Think you have made a good decision and it'll give you something to plan for next year :) Half the reason I've not ordered Kirsty's book- I've that many things I've wanted to do for the last couple of years and have got around to it, this is the year I will tho, specially with you keeping me on my toes task wise. Thank you :) xxx
Thanks for the kind words about the cakes, really enjoyed doing them, Sod's law hah when I've been put out to pasture :) xxx
Alja my pleasure :) I'm really pleased for you. Hope the shops aren't too busy tomorrow afternoon for you, the thing is they'll be far worse in weeks to come wont they? Is tomorrow your charity shop day too? xxx
Pateroo I'm a sucker for baking bits and bobs, now I'm going to have to peep on the sainsburys site haha thank you xxx
Choccymoose Oooh your buys sound fab, any chance of a photo of your plaques? Really fancy making some xxx
Pixitotts hi, welcome to our little haven full of Christmas spirit. That hall really is amazing isn't it ?
Rebel Hedgehog It's good to have you posting more often :) I love your input. I decorate my kitchen too, for the same reason, I spend a lot of time in there :) I have baubles tied with ribbon (all matching kitchen colours) tied to the kitchen unit handles, bowls (like fish bowls) filled with baubles and fairy lights and last year I had a piece of dowel up at the window which I hung baubles with fishing wire string - I loved that xxx
Lalagomay I blame Nigella too, wouldn't have it any other way :) x
Mrs Hayes so pleased DSs parents evening went well, it's reassuring isn't it :) You are going to be busy, that's a long day tomorrow. Hopefully you'll get chance to relax on Sunday xxx
Peppapig I'm not quite sure it's legal but as the saying goes "what you hear on the thread stays on the thread" nudge nudge wink wink xxx
MKGIRL thank you so much for the photos. I'm loving it. I've got a primark list running now and I know exactly what I'm looking for. You are a treasure :) x
Picnmix argh I'm so sorry to hear you are having a tough time. Sending virtual gentle hugs, specially for you DD. Yes some people are just horrid :( Hoping the bossy madam is dealt with very soon! xxx
Weeclick I'm glad things are picking up work wise :) Im off to browse the studio site now. Sadly can't buy anything yet but I can do a wish list :) xxx

Linky I love it :) How is DS coping with the new wreath and stags? My brain always comes to life at this time too, sometimes a blessing sometimes a curse! xxx

He hasn't seen the wreath up yet. I expect I will get a little shake of the head, implying I am mad :rotfl:
He did ask why I was naming the stags after dead people :rotfl:
I told him it was a nice thing to do. He just hold me I was mad. :rotfl:
