mandco - the Yankee's aren't a bad price, but they aren't this years Christmas fragrances, so I will be hunting elsewhere

I won't be on as much for the next couple of weeks.....ds is playing the music for a show this weekend, which is proving to be massive and has been booked by someone to do the percussion for a cd next weekend, as we can't do rehearsals, due to other rehearsals already booked, they have just sent all the other musical scores to my email. so I am going to print them off and will be helping him to get through them in the next 7 days
then he is playing in a jazz festival the next weekend. I will be off and on though, so everyone keep well and happy xx

this has got to be my fav quote of the week :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: really made me giggle.
Well decided against the shopping trip and went back to my original plan of cleaning cupboards, so I have completed this weeks task :T
Did pop into Mr T and got some heavily reduced baking items in their clearence section, mini marshmallows 25p per bag, baking choc 17p per slab, also got some cute Guiness chocolate miniatures, a long pack of small chocs shaped like pints of Guiness, 80p per pack reduced. These will be going in to my Dads and FIL stockings.
Also GOT THE COAL! was so pleased as my mum is always going on about getting coal in a stocking, so she shall have some in hers this year! Got a bag each of Choc orange minis and mini Magic Stars for the girls stockings, so quite a productive morning.
Decided to give Argos a miss, I'm hoping they do another 342 on toys next month, I have a memory of them doing it quite often last year, I will use my vouchers then,
Found a lovely little chocolate mould in the cupboard in the shape of mini xmas trees, baubles, so chuffed as in the reduced baking items I bought above was small small tubes of Xmas writing icing in red/green/yellow so will be able to ice the choccies to decorate.
Also found a Lalaloopsy doll, Moxie girl doll and secret diary that I had forgot I had bought during the year :T
Sorry to hear about people being made to feel bad in the playground, I will talk to anyone, so whoever is near to me gets a conversation. I do have some good friends in the playground, but we never try to outdo each other with stories of what our kiddies can do, we normally go on about the less attractive side of parenting for moral support from each other. In general I will talk to anyone, drives my kids nuts, spent a good 10 minutes yesterday evening talking to a lovely lady in Tesco, when we had finished our chat my DD1 asked who she was - "no idea, never seen her before in my life".
Bought the XMas Mag this morning, saving it for tonight when the kids are tucked up in bed, shall peruse will a mug of hot chocolate.

Hi all.
Having a dont want to do anything day today, feel utterly fed up, haven't got a particular reason why, just one of those days. Tho I did get my christmas countdown plaque from feisty this morning which is now proudly hanging in the kitchen with the correct number of days on it, thanks feisty its great :-) did cheer me up.
Made a proper list of ds presents and it seems I only have one more to get and I'm done and under budget, so if I get the last item cheaper than its rrp I can get a couple of clothes items for him :-)
My dh's dad is over from Cyprus at the mo which is prob why I'm fed up, he's such a selfish git, the only relationship dh has with him is in a pub, he more like a drinking buddy than a dad. Never keeps in contact and visits once a year and we only see him for a meal in a pub. Have flat refused to ever let them take ds anywhere as they can't be trusted not to drink and drive.
Enough about that, hope everyone is getting on well with this weeks tasks and hugs to everyone that needs them.
Must crack on not even finished my first list yet and housework is calling too :-( x0 -
I'm so excited!! OH bought me the Christmas magazine today :jI am soooo tempted to read it now but want to wait until it's dark and then it feels more Christmassy. Keep telling myself that I can look at it only when I've done some chores - just trying to get myself motivated!
They also had the Winter Wonderland bars for £1 in Smiths if anyone's interested.Sealed Pot Challenge Member no. 048

I am one very happy bunny atm, just managed to get my mums christmas present off ebay, brand new,s till int he box, never been opened for £56.20 incl postage, this retails at £92 & is very rarely reduced ever so I am chuffed to get a brand new one so cheap, the extra bonus was as I went to pay with my paypal I had an unknown 4.60 credit in there so the gift cost just over 50 quid.
This gift was actually on my countdown shopping list for week -5 to chrimbo so I am well ahead of schedule.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Don't know if i mentioned by my dd1 came home from college the other day and she had had a meeting with her tutor.. Shes being fast tracked through level one professional catering as she seems to be far too advanced to be stuck doing it. which is fab newsThey are also helping her find a part time job as level 2 they like you to be in a work placement. Hopefully will give her a confidence boost.
