I'm on a roll now ... just to get you all in the mood, i thought I would share one of my favs, this was taken from our back garden last year, I have it framed and it takes pride of place above our fireplace all year round!

Off to Sainbury's in the morning. Persuaded my Mum to take me (I suffer from panic attacks and can't go on my own anymore) so really looking forward to it. Thanks to whoever posted about all the Christmas choccie being in there, I've made a list and will see what they have - I LOVE Christmas shopping. Also because I've not shopped with them in a while they've sent me some vouchers so will get some money off too.

Currently typing up some of my amigurumi patterns for people to buy, hard work and I may not sell any but I'm enjoying it. I love hearing about everyone's makes as I'm a crafty type too. Nearly finished my cousins daughters scrapbook for her Christmas prezzie and got her a book on how to draw various Pixar characters (from The Works) as she loves drawing. Also got my niece a Little Miss puzzle from there too to go with her presents as it was only 99p.

Will report back tomorrow of any further Christmas purchases.

    Secret Santa sounds awesome!

I agree - count me in :D There is a website for Secret Santas called Elfster, which may be helpful.

Congrats on acquiring your own shop Feisty

I left my solar Christmas lights up on the conifer outside my bay window from last Christmas as they are so pretty, and a cheerful sight to see all year round.

I've been, and will still be MIA, although I have been reading as I have exams coming up which I am having to put a lot of time into as they are the final ones and I will have finally completed my British law degree (I already have a South African one) after studying for almost 20 years  I will be so so glad to get to the end

Beautiful doggy and beautiful snowy picture! Love them both! How lovely!

Does anyone have any good quick Christmas game ideas? I usually hold a small get together with my friends. It's a relaxed affair with way too much food (thanks to my parents who I still live with! haha!), we usually watch a Christmassy film and generally have a good catch up and a giggle. Last year I played the paper plate game with them where they had to draw a Christmas scene on the plate whilst it was on top of their head. You can find the rules online, but basically the best one wins. It's so funny looking at the outcomes! But yes, any fun ideas for this year are welcome :)

You should have seen me on Monday when I helped unpack the shopping for my parents. I was singing everything out of the bag and into the kitchen to the tune of "hosanna in excelsis" ..don't ask! But it sure helped me wind down from work and feel more Christmassy too! Haha! :D

I have played a game similar to this one and it was great fun.
