    Xmas Saver!
Well I won't be doing any Christmas shopping this week. Just checked by bank and no Tax-credits went in yesterday.
I will be on the phone to them first thing tomorrow.

I do hope they have dd down as staying in education. I told them weeks ago.

I had to call child benefit today to check just that, apparently they have extended DS child benefit until sept 2015 but told me its not their policy to inform me of the decision, I just have to presume. Bloomin barkin, usually I'm inundated with paperwork to inform me of a 4 pence increase or suchlike but when I need an answer that's a complete different story.
I do hope yours gets sorted, sometimes I wonder what these people do all day in their offices.

Got to start with Pinknfluffys brilliant news :) I've got tears running down my cheeks reading your post. I'm delighted you had such a positive experience. Your DH must also be so relieved bless him. You have a diagnosis :) a real and very genuine condition, just need to sort your meds out, might need a tweak here and there then we'll and of course more importantly your family will have the Pinknfluffy we know and love back full time xxx

Fatblackandwhite that made me chuckle :) x
Lina T I'm glad (and a little envious) of your cuddles today. The hamper sounds adorable did you get a photo? I'd love a peep x You excited for your hols?
Princess hiya we've missed you xxx Hope work is going well and you've settled ok
Snugglebunny I will have too keep an eye out for the butterscotch candy cane, I need to taste it now :) I've been thinking about a Christmas exhibition too, I'm sure I heard one advertised coming to Manchester.
Poppygirl bramble gin that does sound adventurous :)
Bunbun oh you poor thing. I hope you are sorted now and feeling better :) I agree definitely a sign that you could use a little declutter :) Of course, I talk the talk just don't actually do it! I think I read something on the hoarding thread about a "toothbrush theory" forgive me if I've misunderstood it. I interpreted it to mean everything has a place and you know where that place is as easy as being able to find your toothbrush! Even I know where my toothbrush is and can get to it so maybe it's right!
Freespirit I thought that pesky BD was lurking :( Twinkle those fairy lights I know your heart and best wishes go out to the young family having to cope with cancer and it's an occasion to count our blessings. BUT your pain is very real and at the moment disabling and you are being too hard on yourself :( (I did notice you swerved the question about your review at the drs- I will be keeping a close eye on you ) Im 49 and no your aches and pains should not be causing this much pain. We are in our prime xxx
Peppapig I'm on an iPad most of the time so I jot down notes, there is noway I could retain all that info at once!!! Haha. Also if your write into word and you loose your post it's only a click away isn't it :) Very quickly you get to know who's doing what etc like a real family :) xxx
Bunty I'm so pleased that you are feeling a little brighter today, I'm sure it's the promise of twinkling fairy lights :) I've got my very best friends 50th at the weekend. Obviously I've known all year it was her big birthday - am I prepared? No. Do I have any ideas? No. Last minute again, need to cobble something together that looks like I've put a humongous amount of thought and effort into it argh.
I think Linkys countdown of the countdown was a little warning :) haha just in case I think she has forgotten.. No never a Linky never forgets :) xxxxx
Chrissy thinking of you, be strong (pot kettle black!) xxx
Feisty you are very quiet, are you and Mr Feisty deep in thought? X

    Hi guys!

Any chance I can join in on this lovely thread?

I am 21 and last year I spent most of November up until 4pm on Christmas Eve in hospital! So last Xmas wasn't very Christmassy for me or my family! Luckily this year out of the 5 hospital stays I've had , 2 weeks is the longest they've kept me!

I want to be well prepared for this year!

    :) speak soon!

I had to phone tax credits on Monday and there was a message for people with children staying on in education. It basically said not to worry, the claims get reassessed at the end of the academic year and new forms sent out. I think it is to do with the "child" ceasing to be a child for education purposes and from 1st September they are a qualifying young person instead. I think the rates of pay stay the same.
Probably as well to check they have got your correct details though.

well its all gone wrong big time , after another distraught phone call yesterday she agreed to give it a week to see how things go then at 10 last night another even more distraught call she had fallen down some stairs I]the stairs the she shouldn't have had to use had the promised ground floor room materialized as promised ![/I

now i know im going to get slated from all angles but im picking her up today , i know her and theres no way she is going to settle she is so unhappy her acid reflux has started again.

I have spoken to the staff on each occasion she's called and im less than impressed with their attitude
